Zero G Hose burst
- -Bought Zero G hose on Amazon; packaging claimed 5-year warranty for the original purchaser; hose burst after 1 year and third-party warranty denial.
Bought Zero G hose from Amazon. Hose packaging stated it had a 5-year warranty.
After 1 year, the hose burst. It should be noted it was kept on a reel, covered, and I took great care to avoid abrasion on the hose. After contacting customer service and receiving a warranty claim form, I filled it out as asked. My claim was denied.
The reason? They stated, and I quote "As stated on our website, we do not warranty third party claims". Nowhere on the hose packaging warranty statement does it mention the warranty is invalid if purchased from a 3rd party. It states "This warranty applies to the original purchaser for the warranty period stated on the front of the packaging and covers defects in workmanship and materials".
This deception and refusal to abide by said warranty has lost them a customer for life, and I am out the $66 purchase price. The ill-will they have created will have far more negative repercussions on their business than simply replacing the hose as they should have done. I liked the hose, and it worked great before bursting.
So much so, that I bought a 2nd one for my home 2 weeks ago. This one has been returned, as I have no with to do business with a company with such low standards of customer service and ethics.

Poor customer service poor quality of materials and false statement no kink hose that a damn lie!

Bought a no kink hose got it home had a manufactured defect hole in the hose! Poor quality of material!
I would have taken it back to where I bought it but its 90 mile round trip cost more in gas than what the worthless hose is worth. I will never buy a water hose from them again!
If all they can make is junk! They did not even have the balls to answer my email I sent them!
