Win 7 Pro is being flagged as being counterfeit.

After three years, my Win 7 Pro is being flagged as being invalid on my desktop. All efforts to register the product with Microsoft has failed.

I want a refund of the money I paid for an now unusable product. This company is bogus. When I first ordered the program I was told that I would be sent a download link fir the program, but asked if the CD I paid for would be sent soon. I was told it would be.

Three years later, I have yet to see it. More words to reach 100 words. More words to reach 100 words. More words to reach 100 words.

Invalid License Key

I had a system crash. Upon attempting to reinstall Office Professional 2016 Plus, the product can not be activated because the license key is invalid.

The software is now in a 30 day trial period. I have made several attempts to contact Tech Supply King over several weeks and there has been no response. In my last attempt to contact them, I stated, if there is not a prompt reply, I will seek legal counsel. How can companies get away with this?

Are there any class action suits in process? https://techprokings.com/index.php/software.html?___SID=U It seems this product and others are no longer available.

Windows tells me win 7 is not valid 10 months later

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought windows 7 pro from TechSupplyKing in April of 2014. It is now March of 2015.

For the last month or so I have been getting a message on my computer saying that my copy of windows 7 is not valid - that I am running counterfeit software. It was OK for 7 or 8 months but now it has detected a problem.

I spoke with Microsoft and I ran Microsoft's validation software and it says that the product key has too many installs and I need to buy Windows 7 from Microsoft. I'm waiting for chat at TechSupplyKing to come up but after 10 minutes it appears that no one actually replies. I called the TechSupplyKing telephone number and it says go to the web for live chat.

Looks pretty bad to me, don't get suckered into dealing with these guys.

Bought a copy of Windows 7 Pro for a small business I support. Initial activation was successful.

In April 2015 my user began receiving messages that the software was invalid.

Turns out that -- although our invoice and all communications related to the sale explicitly say "Windows 7 Professional" -- we were sold a Win7 Enterprise MAK. Vendor is a thief/scammer.

Guest

I purchased my Windows 7 from them on May 8th of 2014 and its now May 18th and today it showed my copy was a counterfeit. I am beyond mad and so far there is nothing that can be done.

If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Thanks

TechSupplyKing is listed on the microsoft partner site still. They were acting as agents for microsoft and microsoft should be held responsible.

Guest

I have the same problem as above. Windows 7 pro purchased late last year (2014) was good until a few days ago.

Not a good situation! What can cause such a state. e Hope there is a more amicable solution for people like us.

Wonder why was this allowed to go on for such a long time. Somebody from TechSupplyKing the should be held responsible and correct the situation!

I have the same problem. I could not get a hold of them. There website has disappeared

Can you give me contact info.

I was sold unlicensed software.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Initial installation went well after purchase, but I couldn't register the windows product. A service technician from Tech Supply King activated the program remotely and it worked fine until I was notified by Microsoft that I may be a victim of software fraud.

Since being notified by Microsoft of the problem I have been unable to contact the vendor in order to resolve the problem. This has been a most unfortunate development, Tech Supply King had provided prompt and efficient service and support. I believed that they were a responsible vendor of Microsoft products. It would be appropriate that the vendor, Tech Supply King, make good on my purchase and fix the problem by re-issuing the correctly licensed software.

I trusted them to be a responsible vendor, and looked forward to making future purchases. It is very disappointing to learn that I was duped into buying unlicensed software from them. Lesson learned, investigate the vendor before buying online. If there is a class action suite against Tech Supply King, I will most likely join with it.

This disgraceful action warrants correction and refunding of monies collected.

At the minimum, a full refund should be given or they can register the product properly.

Techsupplyking - FAIL

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

same as with others - their 25 digit product key failed, apparently due to being sold to others . now, I can't get a hold of them, so apparently they have gone out of business.

too bad one cant get their money back and that google seems to have no duty to concern their self with customer problems that they in fact have previously supported.

if I had known that's what we were in store for, I would have gone with amazon or some other vendor, rather than a google fly by night company that has flown the coop. buyer be ware.

Fake software - Windows 7

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Purchased Windows 7 from this company in May 2014 - It now says I have a bogus operating system. I thought I was doing good by buying cheap but you get what you pay for.

Should have known better. It didn't help that this company had good ratings when I bought it but just goes to show anyone can manipulate the reviews and the ratings. This is the last time I take a chance and purchase proprietary software as a "download" - major red flag. All of us have no one to blame but ourselves.

If it too good to be true then it usually is. It's always buyer beware and these online guys can be here today and gone tomorrow.

Apparent Counterfeit copy of Windows 7

I'm having the exact same problem as others I see. I purchased Windows 7 from these crooks (unknown at the time) April 2014 and now, June 2015, I am getting the black screen with a warning telling me my Windows version is not genuine.

Should have known..... they lied to me on several occasions, telling me they were sending me a CD in the mail but to go ahead and download the online version from their website because the CD's were "back-ordered". I see now, one year later and too late to get a refund, that they don't even have a website any longer. This is the second "fraud" computer support company I have been ripped off by.

To all of the legitimate software support companies...... these fraudulent companies are hurting you because none of you can be trusted these days!!

Sold a counterfeit Window 7 upgrade

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I bought a Windows 7 upgrade from Tech Supply King on 7/22/2014 and today. 5/3/2015, Windows has blocked this license and I must purchase a new one.

Phone number and website, etc. now are offline. Total ripoff. Hind sight being 20-20 I will now buy 'full price' from Microsoft I guess.

The associated website was Smart Software Support, so, this is bogus also. Lesson learned, forget the 'deals' and you're just stuck paying full price if you don't want to get caught finding out your purchase was fraudulent.

BTW, this 'at least 100 words' minimum is a drag, too. What's up with that?

MS Office Home & Student 2013 works for a few months

Purchase MS Home & Student 2013 and it worked fine for a few months, then started asking for activation ('Product activation failed'). The key provided doesn't work.

I tried the on-line chat and after about 15 min 'Emily' offered to help, but after waiting another 10 min or so never responded. Their on-line support encourages one to one to 'CONTACT US' by phone chat or email. I would call but the chat window blocks their phone number. I wonder why they did that?

If I do, some day, manage to reach someone associated with Tech Supply King, I'm sure it'll take many hours. I'm resigned to buying it again, this time from a reputable reseller.

Ordered Windows 7 pro thought I would get disc but got download

Here is my chat with a dude named Preston, cause they don't answer the phone.

Please wait for a site operator to respond.

You are now chatting with 'Preston'

Preston: Hello and welcome to Smart Software Support! My name is Preston and I am your software specialist. What questions can I help you answer today?

Tim: I just purchased windows 7 professional and on the website it shows that I will be getting a dell reinstalation disc, I did not want a down load

Tim: here is the link http://techsupplyking.com/MCW7PRP_018.php

Preston: Please give me a couple of minutes to bring up your order and take a look

about 3 mins go by

Tim: Do I have to call and cancel

Tim: Are you in India

More deley

Tim: What the ***

Preston: Hi Tim

Preston: Okay, I see what happened.  When your order was processed, our system notified us that the physical media for your title is on a bit of a backorder

Preston: With the recent surge of demand for Windows 7 due to Windows XP losing support on April 8th, the discs are now on a slight backorder

Preston:The item is still set to be shipped to you, but in the meantime we provided you with the media available through a download file, so it wouldn't cause any potential delays for you

Tim:No just cancel my order now

Tim:Or do I need to call my credit card company?

Preston:Yeah let me refund you Tim

Tim:Please

Preston:R-xxxxxxx

Preston:Is your refund confirmation number

Preston:I was going to tell you the discs are shipping tomorrow Tim

Preston:But since you are so impatient and rude, its best to refund you

Preston:The funds have been released to your bank, they will make them visible on your card in 1-2 business days

Tim:Wow

Tim:I don't know how to respond to a bate and switch expert

Preston:Bait and switch?

Tim: yeah

Preston:You ordered the disc, and at the time of the order our system was unaware the discs were on backorder

Preston:There was no bait and switch at all

Preston:So instead of this causing a delay for you, we provided you with the media

Tim:will fix your system

Tim:well

Preston:And the discs were still set to arrive to you

Preston:I was busy at the beginning of our chat, as I was dealing with 10 others

Tim:and don't make your problem

Tim:my problem

Preston:And you were too impatient to let me tell you that the disc will be shipping from our warehouse tomorrow

Preston:Its nobodys problem

Tim:sure

Preston:Its our problem

Preston:Now you have the money returned to you

Preston:so now your problem will be finding Windows 7 Pro at a similar price that you paid with us

Tim:10 others with problems

Preston:nice joke

Preston:2-3 installation problems

Preston:6-7 sales inquiries

Tim:I guess we are done unless you want to insult me some more

Preston:Sorry if you felt I was insulting you

Preston:I just dont appreciate your smart comments at the beginning of the chat

Preston:Makes it impossible to properly take care of your order and explain things to you

Preston:So its best to refund you, and not waste more time on your order

Preston:We have parted ways

Preston:Take care Tim

I called my credit card company also and had them reverse charges and send a new card. I understand they are in Canada?

I think most of the posters are missing the POINT and the point is if you order from a seller a item you should get that item NOT SOMETHING TOTALLY DIFFERENT . ALL of the people that have been BAITED AND SWITCHED would not like it unless you are a troll from tech supply king, who keep posting here in defense of Preston. That being said I'm with Tim, if you are honest with yourself you would NOT be happy when you are baited and switched.

This guy Tim is an ******* I would hate to deal with him Preston did a good job keeping his composure

Oh joy, it took 3 mins how would you know? because you are Preston posting again.

Your IP has been Traced. Preston is CJ and you are Preston.

Guest

I agree with CJ whoever he is. Tim's big complaint is that the guy gave him a download instantly and took 3 minutes to research his issue. While during that time he felt the need to insult the guy with what i would assume is a racist comment because the guy may be in India....

More deley Tim: What the *** So tired of bloggers taking their *** out on the internet. I'm sure you have several incidents a week where the "***" couldn't help you out. I've done business with these guys before and they were fine.

Guest

Preston is super rude and an *** I think all the site operators are this one post-pubescent kid with an attitude selling illegal copies of software. Super rude.

"always on backorder". we reported them to microsoft and BSA and FBI.

I hope this clown goes to jail like that dude from Texas. they're going down.

Since all I have to go on is this chat log, Preston comes off as a good guy. Tim, on the other hand, comes across as someone who will be cornering people for the next year, forcing them to listen to this *** story.

Nice work Preston keep it up aasshaatter

I dont see where preston did anything wrong how else was he supposed to deal with an *** like yourself tim

No issues

I don't know what the problem is with techsupplyking.com, I bought a Win7 Pro download in July for $73 and had no problems. I was actually going back (Oct.

18-2014) to look for another deal and can't find it anymore. That's the only problem I have with them. I don't know what the problem is with techsupplyking.com, I bought a Win7 Pro download in July for $73 and had no problems. I was actually going back (Oct.

You must be one of the sleeze balls that work for them. Price of win7 pro has been 90.00 not 73. Try getting a free win10 upgrade with that software.

Did not get item ordered & download issues

Ordered Windows 7 Home Premium. Started download which took 6 hours on a high speed connection.

Once download finished files could not be opened. I called tech support and they said only remedy was to repeat the download from a different server. So 12 hours later finally got to the file to start installation. When I went to install found that they had sent me Windows 7 Professional instead of Home Premium.

Since I was upgrading from a previous version of Home Premium it would not let me upgrade, I had to do a new install which meant I would lose all of my programs, files and settings. Called tech support again, they said they could not help me since I had already done the download.

When asked why they did not tell me before the download about the switch, they would not answer but changed the subject. So, I had to spend hours reinstalling all of my programs and uploading the backups of all my files.

Beware, they will do what they want to you and cause major issues

Ordered Office 2010 Pro DVDs. They gave me serials to 2013 pro plus.

I knew they were a scam right away. No hard copies were sent to us. Their receipt stated we bought downloads. Credit card company would not let us dispute.

Thanks for nothing Mastercard.
