- - Phone line died on Sun 6/30 and again on 7/1 at East Meadow; connected after 9:30.
- - An unknown account appeared under my member number; ID won't accept.
I tried all day on Sunday, June 30, to access phone banking, but the line went dead - no message, no anything. It also happened at 9 a.m.
today, 7/1. This same thing happened in April. I was finally connected after 9:30 a.m. Then, I found that there is an account with my member number about which I know nothing.
A very patient gentleman tried to help me online, but I was unable to get my computer to accept my ID. So now, I have to risk walking through your dangerous, holey, lumpy parking lot and sidewalk to access the bank.
Something needs to be done about the bank's accessibility before someone falls, breaks something, and sues the bank for a fortune. This is about the East Meadow, NY branch.

Can't reach customer service
- - Paid off auto loan 4 months ago but no title.
- - Online chat said the lien was released and directed me to the DMV; the DMV has not received the release.
Paid off my auto loan 4 months ago but still haven't received the title for my car. TFCU's online chat rep basically blew me off by not looking into the issue and just saying that the lien was released upon repayment of loan, and directed me to contact DMV.
DMV has not received lien release paperwork from TFCU, so now I'm back to square one with TFCU.
I've been unsuccessful reaching them by phone. No matter when I call, it seems the average wait time for customer service is well over 30 minutes.

- - Car loan posts wrong, causing fees.

We have so many problems with TFCU Our car loan is always a problem. Even when we pay it on time they always find a way to post it wrong so we pay extra fees.
Our checking account just got charged fees too for something that they messed up on. They put my deposit into my savings. Then since last weekend whenever I try to use my debit card it doesn't work. I called them and they can't do a thing.
I checked my balance and I have money in my account There's also a teller on the east side who is just rude to us all the time. She's the one who misapplied our car payment.
We're going to find somewhere else to do banking. Once we pay off our car we'lol never bank with them again.

Missed my first payment on a brand new vehicle and because of it my vehicle was repossessed!! A certified letter notifying me of the risk of repossession was mailed to an old address, so, I never received it.
I tried desperately to salvage my car but to no avail. Extremely disappointed in the lack of compassion from this credit union. Newsflash, I wasn't three
months late!
Poor customer service by the collection department, who by the way, don't even speak English very well! !!
