Stealing money for something that I don't have and cannot use, that car could have been wrecked or sold or already been paid off for xxx dollars, and after 2012, they are calling me!

Resolved: Need to pay my car payment
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. They called me for there money bc when I called no one would take the payment so I told the guy when they are ready to take my payment to call me and they did just that a few days later
Wouldnt tranfer me to the right department so there for I guess payment will be there when u guys want it.

Let me explain my sad story...
I bought my truck Jan. 2021.
My credit history with TD Auto Finance is 100%. In 3 years and 4.5 months I asked for an extension last August. Ive never even asked for an extension befor or after until approx two weeks ago. In the event of an extension, they still collect interest and simply add the payment on the back side of the loan.
They make more money in the long run but it obviously helps the consumer in the moment.
Well... my wife's sister recently passed. She lived in the USA, but she's Hispanic and her family lives in Mexico. Her sister was 53, the oldest sibling and their rock...
Obviously her immediate family was destroyed. It meant everything to my wifes mother, sisters, brother and nieces/ nephews to get her body sent back to Mexico for a proper service/ memorial and have her body buried there. Unfortunately, this was put basically all on me. It's not cheap and stung financially but felt I had no choice.
They don't live in complete poverty, but rather poor.
I called a few of my bigger loan creditors and EVERY SINGLE ONE showed sympathy and heart and gave me a simple one month extension without any problems EXCEPT for one. Even after asking one single time in almost 3.5 years TD Auto Finance said NO. It didn't matter. They basically stated circumstances don't matter (my wifes deceased sister didn't matter) and policy states they can only give one extension in a 12 month period.
I reiterated in almost 3.5 yrs I've only asked one time. It didn't matter.
TD Auto Finance, I have a wife and two children. Again, my payment history as reflected on all three major credit reports shows 100% positive with you and my other debitors. We are also trying to buy a home in the near future and don't need you to devastate me on my credit report.
But SCREW YOU.
I will refinance very very soon and NEVER consider doing business with you again. I will also give my review on every site that accepts business reviews to know what happened and what kind of a company you truly are.

I have been dealing with getting my title transferred from Ohio to Kentucky. All I need is for TD to fax the local Clerk of Courts a document saying it is indeed my vehicle, etc.
('title release' or something like that). I started this process on October 19, 2023. Today is August 14, 2024... and I'm still waiting!
Their customer service is horrible, not that the people are rude... they're just limited. They never give you answers, every time you call they give you another bogus timeline.
I would 10/10 not recommend this company! Stay far far away!

I have financed a lot of vehicles over the years and I have never experienced such a terrible customer service experience as I have with TD Auto finance. They are rude and incompetent...
Another thing to note of importance, they take an absorbent amount of time to post electronic payments to your account.
These payments are immediate. If you send a check, expect 2 weeks before it posts. I strongly believe they do this on purpose for the extra interest it accrues during the delayed posting.
I purchased my current truck in August 2023, (6 months ago) and the dealer financed it with TD auto finance. I immediately set up my payments to pay automatically with my bank and I always remain one payment ahead throughout a car loan.
Two payments in, my bank calls me and tells me TD cancelled my auto car payment.
I called TD to find out why, that alone was a fiasco. It took me nearly an hour to get a human on the phone. Once I actually got a person on the phone, she could have verified my identity with a couple questions but no, she literally asked me every little detail about my loan, loan amount, yr make and model of truck, name, address, phone number, birthday, SS number, email address, where I work, work number, last 6 of VIN number, including the date I bought the truck before she would even talk to me. It was absolutely ridiculous.
I asked her why they cancelled my auto car payment, she was rude and insisted they had not cancelled it.
She was no help. She blamed it on my bank and rudely said, "is that all?" I tried to explain that I just wanted to figure out what happened so it doesn't happen again. She rudely insisted TD did not cancel it and she ended the call.
I set up the auto payment with my bank again. Two payments later my bank calls and said TD cancelled the auto payment again.
I asked my bank to please check if it's not something internal with them and my branch manager showed me the screen which showed TD cancelled the auto payments from their end electronically.
I called TD again and again went through all that ID verification nonsense all over again to get another very rude representative who insisted they didn't cancel it. Then she went on to tell me that I need to add my checking info to my account on their website and use THEIR bill pay for a nominal monthly fee. I declined and told her my bank doesn't charge me to pay bills and her response was " then your bill pay will keep getting cancelled". I was literally taken back by her rudeness.
On that note, we ended the call.
At that point, I was done with TD Auto finance and going to refinance the loan over to my credit Union and that's what I did.
That to turned into a fiasco. My CU can see when they accepted the payoff funds, and they have had the payoff funds for a week and still not posted the payoff to my account nor released the lien yet.
Avoid TD auto finance at all costs. They are horrible in every aspect.
We are consumers. We have choices.
If you get bad service from a business, don't use that business.
Move on to a business that appreciates you. That's what I did.

Cannot get a hold of anyone from this company! Lousy customer service!
Answer the phone! They waste your time going through all the prompts and then hang up on you!
Theyre holding my title on a vehicle thats been paid off more than 2 weeks, online they said they would release the title 7-10 days after they received the payoff , we have the car sold , now on the third week and we cant even get a hold of anyone to help us. This attempt has been made 3 times and still just a waste of my time.
I will no longer use this company again for any of my company vehicle loans, nor for personal. Worse company to deal with!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Had to put a stop payment on ACH
I made a payment that I owed. This morning I saw TD Bank took another payment that I did not authorize now I get to pay 30.00 for a stop payment to reverse the pending charge!!!

This bank is by far the worst bank I have ever deal with. Stay clear of this bank. Multiple problems with no resolution despite speaking to multiple "customer service" representatives.

My experience was horrible. I been on hold and still on hold for over an hour and thirty minutes and no one has attended me yet.
I am calling them to schedule a pick up of my vehicle and instead of them pursuing me for the car its me pursuing them time and time again. Its crazy because I am the one that keeps calling and no one has come to aid time and time again its the worst service I ever had.

Overpayment is being withheld
TD autofinance will not refund me the overpayment made by car insurance company. They have been illegally withholding $4000 for three months and keep giving us the run around.

Poor service and ethics
Father passed and company was contacted. Contact was difficult at best, to find a person with any knowledge to resolve, let alone addressing any forward thinking.
Paid off loan amount given to me including one months of delinquency. I asked to rescind, they would not, in fact tacked on additional late fee, due to a U.S mail issue and final pay off not making it to them until the following month...

Don’t Do What They Say!
I have requested a loan pay off letter since January. I have made 4 requests and Im told its was just since and it takes 7-10 business days. I still have not received!!!
