Dissatisfaction with rates

TBay tel offers great rates for new customers only, and does nothing for customers who have been loyal for years - instead rates for them keep going up for what is basically obsolete equipment. Only new installations, and those taking really high internet speeds etc get the newest equipment and options. So older customers end up paying more for less. On calling customer service, I was told that many people just switch to another provider for awhile, getting the promotional rates there, and then switch back. Isn't that dumb answer. Why not reward long term loyal customers, and allow them to acquire new equipment? User's recommendation: I guess switch if you have to, in order to have new equipment and decent rates
