- - Unauthorized $84.60 Getride charge for a Houston ride, I don’t live in Texas and have had no contact, reporting to BBB and US consumer dept.
I received a text that I had used this Getride company with a voucher number and charges for a ride in Houston, TX for $84.60. I do not live in Texas, have not been to Houston in over 20 years and do not know how they got my cell number and some charge card info.
I have tried several times to contact this company, to no avail. Beware! I am in the process of reporting this company to BBB and the US consumer dept.
This is a horrible scam and this company needs better security in monitoring their system and charges. Please stop these bogus transactions and trying to falsely charge innocent victims.
