Never by a Jeep

Good Afternoon,

I purchased a 2019 jeep Cherokee on Aug 26, 2019. The Jeep was making a banging noise that came from the transmission and I called the general manager to have it serviced.

He took my car on Oct 17, 2019 for three days to see what the issue was so he said. He called me and said he hooked it up to the machine and there was nothing wrong with it and that I needed to let it warm up in the morning which is ridiculous. He took my car again on Oct 31st 2019 for 6 days to have it serviced again because the noise continue. He said the mfg tech person hooked it up to the machine and they found nothing again.

The manufacturer tech guy and general manager rode around with my car for days to see if they could hear the banging noise which they did confirm to me that they did here it and that the Jeep was idling high.

He said it’s a harsh shift in the transmission and the issue is intermittent. They suggested an ETC relearn whatever that even means. He said it was fixed. It’s been a week and the banging noise is gone but the transmission and engine is still struggling.

It has no pickup and it’s a V-6. I only have 2650 miles on this vehicle and it’s still driving funny. The shifting is still slow and the shift struggles to go to the next gear.

They claim that the transmission takes a while to adjust and did admit the Jeep Cherokee has transmission issues. So basically, you sold me a lemon Tasca.

Thanks! I don’t feel safe in this Jeep and they never offered to trade my Jeep Cherokee for another one. They said sorry not much we can do. My vehicle will be paid off next month and at this point I am so disappointed with the service and the lies at this dealership.

I want out of this Jeep because I am never going to feel comfortable driving it. I even suggested an upgrade to a Grand Cherokee, and I would make up the difference if they could accommodate or meet me half way with the difference or at least some of the way. They tried to put me in a 17k car loan. They said my Jeep is worth 22k when I paid 31800 so their math skills are way off.

So are they saying my Jeep depreciated by 10k in 2 months! They have had my Jeep more than I’ve had it.

I really thought Tasca/Chrysler reputation and word was worth something nowadays. Apparently, I was wrong!

They lie on a regular basis. Buy at auction.

Claim they check out everything and will show you a *** document on what they paid .

And claim they are loosing money on the deal . Stay away from Taska.
