They dont have an order support number. Been emailing until last event where their return was sent to the wrong address.
Seems to be goong someplace else now. The hassles of cancelling and / or return refund is just too much.
Ordered via their Tapo store site late at night. Realized I ordered the incorrect item, contacted them in the early morning via email (as they don't do phone order support) and via chat (only technical support, but they stated they'll transfer the info over to their order support).
Only received a reply back in the late evening (around 4 p.m.) stating the order couldn't be cancelled and at the same time sent an email stating it was shipped.
Terrible order support. This experience feels like a foreshadowing of what technical support may be...

1. Contacted customer services almost 3 years ago and requested support for poor detection.
Sent round the houses on numerous wild goose chases. NO IMPROVEMENT.2. Suggested a widget for turing ON/OFF all camera sirens upon leaving or returning home. Was told it was a good diea and that they would look into implementing it in a future update - that was 3 years ago and despite TWO more requests for this feature NOTHING has been implemented and now they won't even reply.3.
I gave up trying to contact them via their support route as it has morphed into a veritabnle "hoops of fire" and the last time I tried they didn't even reply.4. Finally resorted to this site.
My experience has been reporting endless false detections on their security cameras to the point where most of my cameras are now set on minimum sensitivity and only "person detection" is switched on.
And they make promises they clearly have zero intention of ever keeping - I made a suggestion for a software feature and was told it was a great idea and that they would look into it with a view to implementing it on a later update - that was two years ago and instead of implementing my suggestion they have actually made the situation my suggestion could potentially resolve EVEN WORSE! The only reason I am still using Tapo cameras is the fact that you don't have to pay to view any recordings more than two hours old, unlike with the far superior Google cameras which whilst they perform far better they delete everything they've recorded in a really short time frame unless you pay for access to premium rate storage - the Google cameras rarely create false alerts but they're silly expensive and absolutely require the premium payments!
Preferred solution: I want them to improve their detection software AND implement a widget to enable/disable ALL camera sirens in one button press when leaving home or returning.
