Flight Cancellations

This airline literally cancelled my flight twice and will not answer the phone to reschedule. Instead they randomly picked whatever day they want me to fly and scheduled it for that day. Tons of customers waiting on refunds from months ago. This airline will go out of business if they continue like this. I've been flying for over 20 years and TAP is literally the worst airline I've ever used.

User's recommendation: DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK. YOUR FLIGHT WILL BE CANCELLED AND YOU WILL BE SENT SCRAMBLIMG TO TRY AND SOLVE IT WITH NO HELP. I WOULD NOT BE HERE IF WHAT I AM SAYING WAS NOT TRUE.

We had a board on freeforums which was purchased by Tapatalk. Since then members have been fleeing like rats from a sinking ship. They frequently do updates that crash the network, require resetting the board and regularly refuse to reply to support tickets. Posts and threads also become missing from the site with no record of where they went and they refuse to give a backup of our data. Additionally, their mail system doesn't work and weekly emails from our site were being delivered to only a few of our members. The situation is the same with Tapatalk sending out emails to prospective members and when these new members don't receive the email I can't send another to the same address. On top of that they delete messages from the support forum that they don't like and permanently ban the member that posted it. This is a very bad company that has purchased hundreds of thousands of forum sites and run it like they are in China (misbehave and get shot), which by the way is who owns the company. The owner is Winter Wong and if the US government thought Tick Tock was a problem they haven't seen anything yet. This company should be considered a virus that does nothing but steal and market your thoughts and posts and should be stopped by the federal government. I can't even give them one star for anything. This company really needs to be investigated by the authorities.

Beware!

I had two forums for 10 years. Tapatalk took over 2 years ago. Last year they deactivated my accounts without notification. Deactivated my email. They MONETIZED my forums for donations and closed my access. Now I can't close the forums and money has been being collected for over one year. I'm filing a complaint with the bureau

Tapatalk is the worst - Avoid at all costs!

This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with online. I created a message board and am completely bombarded by banner ads and popups, even when I am on the paid plan. They nickel and dime you to death and are constantly implementing "improvements" that do nothing but make things worse. They do not listen to their customers and are a complete nightmare to deal with. Everytime I go to my site, I'm afraid of what changes Tapatalk may have made to make things worse. I know I am going to have to spend a lot of time trying to fix their so called improvements. Even worse, it is almost impossible to migrate your site away from Tapatalk to a more reliable host. There are better message board sites you can use. Even if they are more expensive, the cost will more than make up for the frustration in dealing with Tapatalk. Aviod Tapatalk at all costs! Their product and customer service is unreliable and frustrating garbage.

Avoid like the plague.

This is the absolute sorriest excuse for a forum hosting service imaginable. 20+ years of being on a zetaboard forum with not a single problem, tapatalk buys them out and forces the use of this Frankenstien mess they've created and now its nothing but problems. God help you if you find yourself logged out, which happens often. By the time you get past the ridiculous login mess you dont even want to be there any more.

Tapatalk is a nightmare

I was forced into using Tapatalk after my Yuku group was bought out by them - since the migration so many things have gone wrong from forums not properly migrated, settings changed without warning and now they have taken away the customization that was possible via CSS codes so we can make our sites look nice rather than using their awful backgrounds Their help forum is absolutely hopeless and you just get ignored if you need help - they also ban members for trying to help others Many people have paid for ad removal and still see the ads and get ignored if they post on the help forum You can only put in a support ticket if you pay a premium - otherwise the so called "help forum" is the only way to get any assistance - sometimes queries are not answered at all and they don't like criticism - you complain and you get banned The Admin section is the most complicated I have ever come across & so un-user friendly What can I say - I am stuck with this awful site as my forum is too big to move by myself and they also prevent you from accessing a back up of your forum so you can move elsewhere - many members who migrated paid for a backup on their previous sites and they have since been denied it - if I could give it a minus one out of 10 I would Jean

Tapatalk Takes Over our PHPBB and Wrecks It!

We had a 3 year prepaid subscription to a PHPBB site through a hosting company. Tapatalk, a newcomer on the scene, has been buying up all the PHPBB sites both free and subscription based, and essentially forcing a migration of boards over to their platform. Their platform is heavily driven by third party aggressive advertising and is mobile-based rather than web-based. This creates problems for PHPBB administrators and members. The forced migration has created issues for many users of these groups that didn't want to be migrated. For many of those admins that have paid subscriptions you either take whatever Tapatalk gives you or you go your own way and have to pay again for the services that you originally negotiated for and are now not getting. When confronted, Tapatalk points to its terms of service which are not the same terms many admins agreed to. So basically speaking, a lot of people are unhappy. Now for those who are not paying for a subscription, free means you're at their mercy. You can start over somewhere else, or stick with it and just deal with it. But for those of us who paid, its a blatant ripoff. Granted they are sensitive to "SOME" complaints, namely the groups that are more profitable to them, or so they think. But if you're a small group, you're not going to have much clout. Nonetheless I am unhappy with the lack of free choice, the taking of money, the unwanted advertising, complaints from members, etc. that have made this a miserable and unlivable situation. I would suggest that if you want a forum or similar group, there are much better options. Eventually these folks will find a way to exploit every possible micro-cent they can out of you. Mark my words on it. My rating, D+ as in you can Do Better.
