Tired of customer service and the app

AI Highlights
  • - Card removed but charged over $1,000.
  • - Insurance info wasn't communicated; charges continued.
  • - Invoices arrived a year late; superbill took over a month.

I removed my card from the app because I specifically didnt want it to charge am outstanding balance. Guess what, it still charged my card over $1000!

The outstanding balance is because they claim to accept insurance, but then fail to notify you when insurance stops covering. Unless youre directly checking your insurance claims every time, you dont know that there are charges as Talkspace just keeps submitting bills. I never received an invoice until a YEAR later for over 1k! Then, when I tried to get a super-bill for my insurer, it took customer service over a MONTH to respond and I still didnt get the adequate superbill.

I have had to go back and forth with not only my insurance and talkspace, that I finally gave up on trying to get the correct information from them. I have loved my therapist for years now, but it is not worth the aggravation of dealing with the terrible customer service.
