DealerRater - Just another BBB like site that hides bad reviews for paying dealerships

Just shameful these types of services. Don't believe that these dealerships have these kind of reviews. I posted a negative review and it was rejected for what ever reason. They are not truthful in any way and if you Google "Dealerrater fake reviews" you will see what I mean. Site like this are paid by the dealership to suppress reviews and help keep a positive rating for the dealership. Just consider that it is very difficult for a company to get real positive reviews and dealerships are by nature shady and full of boarder line criminals. Dealerrater is not a legitimate place to research a dealership and neither is the BBB. Go to Yelp and check the company out. The dealership I complained about has a horrible online reputation except on dealerrater and a few other PAID dealership based services.

Republic Services - Liens and dues from before I owned the home.

Here we go again with this monopoly. Trying to charge me $482 for services when I did not even own the home at the time. Refuse to remove liens and charges. But I guess these complaints are pointless as their contract is good til 2031 and get's renewed every year without opening it up to a bidding process.

DO NO TRUST Discount Mugs to get your items on time. If I could give them zero stars I would. We ordered koozies for an important event for our organization. Online they promised delivery the day prior to the event if we paid expedited shipping. No problem. Well, I never heard from them, did not receive any follow up emails or tracking information. When I called customer service once again they promised to have the koozies on time and of course they hadn't even gone into production the day that they were due to arrive. To add insult to injury, the only remedy they could deliver on was to remove the expedited shipping cost (that they could not deliver on) and a $25 in store credit. No thank you!

Miracle Scraper Roadside Assistance $9.95 monthly

Disputing the $9.95 recurring charges made by Miracle Scraper, I managed to reach their Customer Service desk. I learned that as I was completing the one-time purchase, I somehow authorized this recurring charge as a monthly membership fee for their roadside assistance program. They agreed to cancel my membership and refund the charge they had billed in late May. When I asked for refunds for the other months, I was told that since my membership was in effect during those months, there could be no refunds. We will see what happens: now that my membership has been canceled, these recurring charges should stop.
