American Home Shield - DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY...

Bought a new home in January . Purchased a one year warranty from AHS . A few months in , had a slab leak . Was told it doesn't cover my slab leak because my house was built on a post tension slab . A mere 2200.00 later , problem fixed , no help from AHS. Second issue , had an outlet go bad somewhere in my house . Filed a claim , sent the elctr out and he was unable to locate the problem . First , said it was a blowdryer as it was too powerful . Then said it might be a loose wire which wouldn't be covered . Lastly,for 420.00 he can fix. Took apart some of my garage and didn't put back together . I called AHS several times to discuss and each time they said they would contact the supervisor that overseas the outside contractors they use . They came back with it was an overloaded circuit which was not covered . Ive had an independent contractor out since and everything they said was untrue . Called AHS to discuss as I called PRIOR to having them out to make sure I was clear in what they covered . They said it wasn't covered . Seems to me they look for any out they could possibly find so as to avoid having to pay a claim . Horrible experience . Not worth the paper its written on ...which ... if it was under their warranty , wouldn't be covered anyways because it probably would have to be off white instead of off-off white . Lame.

Toshiba customer support destroyed my laptop

I called Toshiba customer support this afternoon because I had forgotten my login password. I waited for 45 minutes to get an agent. When I was FINALLY transferred to a tech support person, his command of English was so poor, he could not understand me, nor I him. I demanded to speak to a Supervisor. When one was FINALLY found (an hour passed) he told me to do a system reset. I was told that my files and settings would be retained, as I would simply be re-installing Windows 10. After following his instructions, I found out (4 hours later) that all of my files had been erased. I cannot even get it to re-start. After waiting in *** for ANOTHER HOUR...demanding to talk to another supervisor, I was told that my computer will "no longer work." So. Now my computer is a toaster.

PODS=worst customer service

Spent over an hour on the phone with 3 different reps trying to book a container. Could NOT get a firm price at all. Every question I asked required the rep to go to a supervisor and the price would change each time. Once the order was made it reflected the wrong dropoff address online. After a lengthy call to a 4th rep and the same old "bait and switch" routine I canceled the order. Wouldn't be surprised if the container showed up anyway.
