Centurylink - Messed up service move

I called century link on May 25 to get get a phone moved from one room to another at the same facility. First a order was made to move the service on May 31. The phone was not installed on that day, and when I called the order did not show up I the system. This is for a 92 yr old with a life line. A new order was given with earliest date of June 7. After escalation I was told that they would move on June 2nd. On that day the original phone was disconnected, but the new phone was not installed and the record was showing it will be installed on June 7. I am now on call 11, and on hold for 10min of verification and was told that it would be 10 more minutes to get to an escalation specialist. No resolution.

Cox Communications - Worst Experience ever

Cox and their associate Global Data Services. The Global Data person did not give a name he did not appear to be clean and was smelly. He said he would not open the box as it was not one of theirs and I should have bought one from them. I lifted the lid and he proceeded to rip the plastic off. (thereby making it unreturnable) Having bought a Motorola combination modem & router the old ones needed to be unplugged. This he refused to do. Using 1 old plug and leaving the other plugged in and hanging loose. Very unhelpful to the point of rudeness.

Cox Communications - Incompetent Techs

On 7/4/2013 I called the Cox Helpline & spoke to tech (Leon) in the Gretna,La. area to try to address a problem I was having w/my computer,he told me I had a bad problem & would need a new router @ the price of $6.00 per month & subscribe to the Cox Help Line for $99.00,I agreeded and he said he would send a man to my home Friday 7/5/13 and someone over the age of 18 had to be home all day so I cancelled an appt. I had and waited all day, no one came out so I called the cox office and she said there was no repair ticket made out! 9:24am,7/8/13 I spoke to supervisior Paul who said he would cancel the entire order for me. I have been a customer of Cox for many years and am very dissapointed over this problem. I do not expect any type of bill because of this matter.
