From You Flowers - Non Delivery-No Notice * Bad Business Buyer Beware!

1st time I used FYF, paid an up charge for noon delivery. Delivery didn't happen until 2:30-called for refund of "up charge" It takes about 15 minutes for C/S to even answer your call. 2nd time I use them last week they didn't deliver the flowers at all and didn't notify me of non delivery, I had to find out from the recipient. Flowers were to be delivered on a Friday. I called my mother on Monday night when I hadn't heard from her. She states "what flowers"? The flowers I had ordered because, my father, her husband, had just died and she was depressed and I thought sending her flowers would give her a little cheer. So Tues I call FYF, the C/S rep puts me on hold to call florist to verify non delivery, after I had already waited 15 minutes for C/S to answer, and states no answer at florist, so I will have to wait until the next day when they can verify the non delivery. Seriously, FYF doesn't have a system in place that informs them of flower delivery confirmation by florist? Now it's Wednesday, at 2:04pm I get 3 paragraph email with 5 apologies and a statement that FYF will deliver ASAP and send me a $10 gift certificate, in 1 to 3 business days, for my trouble. I called C/S 800 #, and after waiting on hold 15 minutes, was told it was after 3pmEST and the soonest(ASAP) that the flowers would be delivered was the next day. I live in CST so it was only 2pm for me. FYF apologies are no where near the time it takes them to do what they are being paid to do. FYF has 1 job to do, deliver flowers. period. I've used them twice and both times they have let me down. Pretty bad track record. If you want flowers delivered, DO NOT use FYF, call a local florist where the flowers are to delivered, you'll have a better chance of your flowers actually being delivered and looking like what you paid for.
