No one has anything good to say about AMERIGAS, and just getting prices to start service was enough to get me to move over to Ferrellgas. At Amerigas, you have to use a tank of at least 120 gallons, and, for $500 they would be happy to install theirs -- which you then lease. I found a much better deal elsewhere, THEN read these reviews. I'm very glad I went with Ferrellgas!

Sling Tv - Wow they actually refunded me

Let the 7 day trial go over by a few hours before catching it and cancelling. Checked every option on the plan too so the bill was almost $80. Called the card company first and learned I couldn't dispute until the payment processed fully. Gave Sling's chat a try and asked nicely... whaddya know: they refunded me immediately and it was even a pleasant process. Good on them. Instead of a bad taste in my mouth after getting screwed over they left a favorable impression. I don't want to burn their corporate offices down and may even consider them again in the future possibly. Not sure if I was lucky or if they realized cable company tactics don't build positive perceptions out of possible customers down the road.

Sling Tv - Avoid this company--Bad Policies and customer service

I tried their trial period and tried to cancel the night the trial was over, but had electrical internet problems because of bad weather. I called canceled 10 hours late. When I asked for a refund they said they couldn't do that, but I could enjoy it for 30 more days for a whopping $35. I asked if they could pro-rate but was refused. I asked to speak to a manager so Sr. Carlos came on and was rude and dismissive. He just kept repeating the same story--"its in the fine print." I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income. I asked very nicely for some consideration. I could not get a clear answer from the manager whether he COULD NOT or WOULD NOT give me a partial refund. No answer and said there was none within Sling TV or Dish Network company with the authority to do that. Hmmmmm. Clearly that is not true. Shame on them.
