I recently ordered one of their saunas, which was highly touted and boasted about on one of their webinars. I was even convinced I was getting an awesome deal of $200 off, and "only paying" $800 for their unique sauna. Imagine my surprise when I find the exact same sauna in a catalog by Sharper Image (.com) for only $300!! LESS THAN HALF of what I was charged for a product that is hard to distinguish from the one they promote! I inquired about this competitor's offer, and was told they "stood behind the product" and would not offer any discount. When I asked about returning their product, I was informed I would be charged: 1. Total cost of shipping (reasonable) 2. $150 "inspection fee" (It is still in the unopened box!!) 3. Any damages incurred. (from the shipping carrier?? ...rem, unopened.) Unacceptable. Be sure you check for available competitor's products/pricing before falling for this company's jacked up pricing.

A Water Nightmare

ECHO2 WARNING ALERT Don't be fooled by companies leading you to believe that their equipment is the best on the market when all they care about is a HOW MUCH THEY CAN POCKET from the sale of their product. And they could care less about how you are affected by what they sell. The following is 2 different dispute letters sent to AMX for a refund of an Echo2 water unit. It cost me $3343.72. The first letter is from March 29, 2018 & the second is from April 11, 2018. I do not want to see anyone else get treated by this company the way I was. The whole transaction was done over the phone & by EMAIL. All I was sent was an order form to fill out. There was not a word about terms & conditions which they sent to AMX on the back of the order form that they had me fill out and sign. I also included my information from the BBB at the end of this letter. (1) March 29, 2018 I ordered the Echo2 water unit from Synergy Science back in October of 2017. When I ordered it I explained that I only have a small pension & Social Security that I depend on each month to pay my bills and asked if I could pay half in October & the rest in November. When the unit was installed I kept in close contact with the girls in the office as to how to use the water. I was told by Raleigh that I needed to use each of the alkaline levels, there are 4, for a total of 1 week which I did. When that was complete I was told to mix the H2 & the alkaline water level 1 or 2 which I continued with. Meanwhile, I was having very bad reactions & was so sick & lifeless with no energy. All I wanted to do was sleep. I was told to try different levels of the water which I did. It did not help & still has not helped. I still get sick to my stomach & wake up at about 3am with a headache. I do not feel that a 30 day warranty is enough time to adjust to this system with all that they say you need to do. The water has also affected my son the same way. I don't think it's right to expect someone to pay $3343.72 for something that they can't even use & is of no benefit to them. Ever since I've been using it, I have to constantly keep a moisturizer on my lips because they are so dry & burn & are swollen. I have no choice but to use the water from the unit unless I want to go & buy bottled water from the store because it is hooked up to my sink. I cannot afford both and don't feel I should have to do this. Evidently the money is more important to this company than a person's health & how they are being affected. (2) April 11, 2018 This is to let you know that after speaking with Zyra on 3/28 I was told to call the Synergy company which I did to ask them to let me return the unit that I purchased from them. I spoke with Sue who told me to hold on & she transferred me to Chelsea whom I was told was the office manager. I was sent to her voice mail & left her a detailed message about the water unit & how it was affecting me & that I would like to return it. I waited for a callback, but to this day, I have never received one. This past Sunday while I was trying to wash dishes I was not able to get the water cool enough to put my hands into so I called my son-in-law who does plumbing & he came over & checked out my kitchen faucet & told me the reason I was not getting cold water was because the calcium build-up was blocking the flow of cold water into the cold water side of the faucet which is what the Echo2 uses for it's outflow. I had to purchase another faucet from Home Depot so that I would be able to use my kitchen faucet & have cold running water. I do not feel that I should have to worry about replacing my kitchen faucet every six months because of this $3343.72 Echo2 that is sitting under my sink & creating these problems. BBB RESPONSE FROM SYNERGY 6/20/2018 Our return policy is 30 days as very clearly stated on our website. We post our return policy, warranties, and terms and conditions on our website. You can view them at www.synergyscience.com/terms.html . You are no longer able to return the product as you are well past the 30 day return policy. If you have a problem that the warranty covers, please contact customer as you have a Forever warranty covering parts, labor, and shipping for the as long as you are alive. We are happy to help resolve issues that the warranty covers. Thank you. MY RESPONSE BACK 6/21/2018 The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I should have been sent the paperwork when they sent the order to sell it to me. I did not go to their website to order the unit. I called & spoke with Raleigh. They never sent the terms & conditions to me. They were only sent to AMX when it was being disputed because they know they did not want to refund my money. They are very unprofessional. They have a business & won't even return a phone call. SYNERGY FINAL RESPONSE 7/3/2018 We strive to have the absolute best customer support available. We answer all calls that come in to our offices, all inquiries from our website, and answer all emails within a 24-48 hr. time period. We have a very clear 30 day return policy. We follow the law completely which states that we need to state our policy on our website as we are not a retail location. The return policy is on our website clearly and on our order forms clearly. We do not in any way hide what our return policy is. Whenever you purchase any product from any company online or on the phone, you should completely understand the return policy and warranty before making the transaction. Our return policy is a very good return policy where we don't even charge a restocking fee if you return it in like new condition. Our warranty is the absolute best in our industry. We include shipping and installation and an easy upgrade program where any customer can upgrade their machine anytime a newer or different model comes out. they only have to return their machine and pay a small fee. You have a Forever warranty on your machine which covers parts, labor, and shipping for the rest of your life. We are more than happy to help you with any issues you may have with your machine for the rest of your life. Our customer support staff will reach out to you tomorrow to find out what is needing (not including your refund request of course). We applaud you for investing in your health. There are medical professionals across the world that endorse and promote The Echo Hydrogen enriched water system to their patients/clients because it is good for them. MY FINAL RESPONSE 7/3/2018 As you can see the driving force behind his decision is MONEY and he doesn't want to lose it no matter what the cost. He's only in it for his own SELFISH GAIN. So I feel it is my duty to let people know exactly what kind of a company this is and please don't get caught up or do business with them. You will receive nothing but grief. What is written above is a bunch of LIES. They do not respond to their calls or messages within 24-48 hours. When you order anything over the phone, you deserve the right to be told what their policy is but they are so damn anxious to get their hands on your MONEY that they conveniently DON'T advise you of their policy. His water units are SO OVERPRICED, and this is the reason for him refusing to let me return it. HE KNOWS THIS AND KNOWS IT IS WRONG. He is only in the business to make as much as he can from his OVERPRICED CRAP, NO MATTER HOW IT AFFECTS ANYONE. And no matter who he SCREWS in the process. So continue the route you're going but just remember ONE THING. We all have to answer to the SAME GOD for what we DO and DON'T DO. Only HE knows the MOTIVES and INTENTIONS of the heart, and yours are not good ones. But you are going to have to live with the results of your own actions and ANSWER for what you are doing to the UNKNOWING PUBLIC.
