Think twice before getting home emergency cover

While the actual staff are great, patient, professional, the policy you take out with Swinton, as I have found, is worthless. My radiator has a leak, as I had taken out the Home Emergency policy, I thought I would be covered, but any leaks to the radiators are classed as wear and tear, so excluded. All Swinton can offer is to turn the radiators off, so my house and children (5 month old and two year old) get to enjoy January temperatures at their chilliest. You are left thinking if this common eventuality isn't covered, what is covered as a fixable home emergency.
