You get what you pay for
what tends to happen in Fairfield and Westchester county is people want a premium service but want to pay a discounted price. you get what you pay for....your not going to get st regis service at a calrion inn.....same goes with a pool company.
When you reach out to some of the bigger companies that have set the standard and held that standard over the last 30 years but don't want to pay their prices many customers tend to seek more inexpensive services. When you call a company like swimm that includes a yearly service in one very inexpensive package, they have to cut back on essential services needed to keep the pool in top form.
essentially the pool is serviced in a very inexpensive minimal way.
The fact is if you want to cut back and be cheap your are going to receive *** service.....don't complain about it

This is Mark Swimm. We have never renovated or worked on a pool in Hicksville Long Island.
Replastering is a very expensive job and I have only had one job not come out beautifully in 20 years and never had any customers complain about the end result. The one pool we did have an issue with we immediately redid the pool.
If this review is accurate and not just a competitor bad mouthing I would like to encourage you to call my office so we can see what we can do to resolve the situation. Thank you for considering this!

Owner treats customer with disdain
Mark Swimm, owner of Swimm Pool and Patio treated me with contempt and disdain on the phone and then hung up on me. He accused me of being arrogant and rude because I wanted sufficient notification before the arrival of his service people and confirmation that they would be coming before I changed my plans to stay home to give them access to the pool equipment.
Basically, he told me they had so many customers, they didn't have time to listen to customer complaints. When I emailed him after the phone conversation to state my displeasure, he again attacked me personally and refused to accept responsibility for his poor customer service and mistreatment.
Just today I had a similar experience with Mark Swimm. Upon sharing with him my understanding of town regulations, specifically that a permit is required to replace pool equipment, Mr.
Swimm spoke to me both aggressively and condenscendingly. He essentially assaulted me verbally, slinging insults at me over the phone. The experience was surreal.
How can a service provider speak so rudely to his customers and retain a client base? My advice: buyer beware.

Mark had good people working years ago. But something has changed. I've heard a lot of bad complaints about his work lately. How do you go from good to bad.
I guess that what happens when you get to big without the right people behind you. Move on to the next pool guy
