Accepted item for repair/return and kept it!

As of late November Swift/SafeTGard has made no effort whatever to return the scope I sent them, repaired or not, nor have they replaced it. Clearly their stated warranty is worthless and these two businesses are nothing more than thieves and liars.

Anyone thinking of buying a Swift Sport Optics product should think again and buy another brand. A Certified letter sent to Sheila Gottsch, the President of Swift and SafeTGard in October demanding they return or replace the scope was refused.

In April 2012 Swift Sport Optics accepted a Swift SRP678M scope for warranty repair/return or replacement, providing a RFI number and a Edmond, OK address for their repair facility. After providing excuses for delays, they finally said that it would be returned in July. As of Oct. 26 it has NOT been returned or replaced and Swift, and its parent company SAFETGARD have refused to answer all questions. The President of Swift and SAFETGARD, Sheila L. Gottsch stated in an August email that she bought Swift out of bankruptcy in 2006 with no responsibility to honor warranty. A complaint filed with the Denver Better Business Bureau resulted in both Swift and SAFETGARD being given a rating of "F" by the BBB in September.
