My wife and I moved into a home with a pre-existing rainsoft already installed that was working for almost two years before it needed maintenance. We researched other companies prices and decided to try for repairs on this machine.

I watched the technician do the repairs and bring the system back to working condition. Compared to buying a new system from the start I guess you get what you pay for.

Lets just say the machines aren't cheap but like a bmw an owner can't expect miracles without some investment. I just didn't want to spend any money than I had to but surprisingly its been almost another 3 years and its still working.

Hi I will just tell you the company Sweatwater sells speakers polls but they use this gimmick that they will do three or 5 payments on you know problem, I gave the man my SSI# information and my credit card number and I know my score is 650 average due to doctor bills with having heart problems and Cancer it does not take long to run up gross amounts and This company has my Credit Card and the have the gull to say I don't qualify, To me that is a one sided love affair and after I trust them with my card number and by the way they keep on record which is against the law which I am going to write to the credit card processing company and file a complaint. My last order is on the way and I would never do business with them again and believe me I know 1000's of people and they know on the average of 8 and that 8 god I really my posting wards off would be buyers from Sweatwater.

Let see if they can send all the pieces back to China.

I should have supported my local store for a few dollars more so think before you buy.

I bought a Rainsoft water softener in 2006. I've been mostly satisfied with the performance, but have since learned they are extremely over-priced compared to comparable units.

Now, about 5 years later, it has somehow become so clogged or something like that, that it caused my water pressure to severely drop.

I confirmed this by bypassing the unit, and the pressure returns to normal.

I have left several messages with the local dealer I purchased it from, and an email to the main Rainsoft headquarters, and no responses at all, nill, nada. I can never reach a person to speak with, only phone tree recordings and voice mail.
