They take your money and switch houses on you at the very last second! Its a bait and switch deal and you cant get anyone on the phone.
Our agent Cristina Hollins changed our house 4 times and had absolutely no remorse for how much of a hassle or inconvenience it was. She never even returned a phone call. THIS COMPANY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LEAVE YOU HANGING WITHOUT A PLACE TO STAY.
ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY, THEY WILL NEVER ANSWER YOU. BEWARE!

Rented a house for the 1st week in Oct 2022. The house was dirty, not cleaned at all!
and a long list of items broken.
Hot Tub not functional
Pool dirty and nasty, would not let the kids swim in it
Oven broken
microwave flaky
beds dirty with makeup and other stains, had to wash everything before we could go to bed.
fun after a 12 hour drive.
garage door broke
also a longer list of lesser items that I don't have room to fit in.
Company refused to answer they phones. won't refund, considering legal action

They are ghetto rentals. Beware of RENTAL with this company!!!
We had no silverware. No pots and pans.
No patio Furnitures. Furnitures in house were damaged. Beds were so old. Refrigerator drawers were damaged.
Walls falling apart. When we got there the whole house was so hot. Floors were filthy. Worste place to ever been at.
They did not accommodate anything and was more worried about us having a pet there.
Lights weren't working. Just how can someone rent a place to people knowing that there's no other option to get out of there.

This was one of the worst misrepresentations of website pictures that I could have ever imagined. For example, they pictured a bench overlooking the ocean which we believed the house was on the ocean or to the beach to the ocean; it was across a busy road down the street and hard to get to.
It is not dog friendly. At no point did the website description note the master bedroom was outside of the main house up above the garage to a separate stairwell to the entry. My architect husband said this house is extremely in need of repair, it is unsafe and not following code and I would not want to take my little children here.
Would NOT recommend! The bedding was awful and not even sheets...OMG...chairs were broke, kitchen was ill-prepared...I could go on.

Nothing has been done to date. We are disputing charge with our credit card company. VRBO would do nothing, blue ribbon management and Sweet Home Vacations nothing so far.
Let me just list some of the issues after paying $5800 to rent here for 6 weeks: broken tv, *** and dirt on curtains, missing &;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;; broken slats on sliding glass door, stains on comforters, refrigerator has broken unuseable drawers; and oh the refrigerator quit running, electrical problems, furniture ripped, baseboards falling down, ants in bathrooms, drain in tub clogged and lots of old hair floating in it. These are just some of the issues within 3 days of moving in and starting our first retirement vacation.
Please check the BBB of Florida before renting thru Sweet Home Vacations under VRBO. WE WILL PURSUE EVERY AVENUE FOR A FULL REFUND!!

My issue has finally been resolved by Airbnb. We will never rent from Sweet Home Vacation, Blue Ribbon or use Host Orlandovillas411 again.
They have little to no regard for their customers and will not help resolve issues. Please don't take my word do diligent research on line about them then run the other way.
I cannot add doctor notes on this website for the two that got sick for HIPPA. I did submit them to Airbnb and Sweet Home for proof. They put my family at risk among all of the other issues encountered including calling them daily up to several times a day while we were there..
When my family heard this I called Sweet Home Vacation and requested to leave and receive a refund and it was denied. 10 of us including 3 children had to stay in a place where the pool heat did not work and every thing was shut down it was highly stressful and frustrating being away from home and stuck on a vacation of a life time that turned into a nightmare.
Our vacation dates were March 11 until March 23, 2020. Every thing shut down on March 14 and 15th due to a Presidential Order concerning the Covid 19 Pandemic.
The house was to have a heated pool which we paid for. It did not work and I had to call every day about something wrong to maintenance or Sweet Home.
They had circuit issues that they knew about and charged me any way. I had to file a complaint with PayPal to get the pool heat refunded. The beds were hard, the blinds did not work so the people behind us could see in no privacy, the circuit tripped and lights went out upstairs they had to come out and turn back on. The President of the United States shut every thing down for the Covid 19 pandemic, and they would not give us a refund, so we could leave and go home with every thing shut down.
The pool did not work, the Club house was shut down, Disney World every thing was it was awful on our vacation of a lifetime. I filed a complaint with Sweet Home and Airbnb, they are saying that the Presidential Order for shut down was not an extenuating circumstance to let us leave and give us a refund to return at a later date. There were 10 people in my family 3 of which were children from 3 to 5 all frustrated, stressed out, bored, nothing to do and two got sick when we returned home a day early (I provided them documentation). They have terrible customer service and put my family at risk for their greed.
I am not asking for all the money back, but we surely should be entitled to some of it since I paid over $6,000.00. At this juncture I would be happy with $1,500 or $1,000.00.
All I can say is buyer beware, please don't rent from them I don't want you or your family to go through what mine did. I don't understand Airbnb at all I have rented from them many times and never encountered any issues before this and expected better than what they are saying.

RUN don't walk away from this company
Had the misfortune of renting a property through this company. Was supposed to be heated pool/spa at the fee of $70/daily.
We arrived and pool/spa were at 72 degrees. Numerous phone calls and emails went unanswered and the pool remained cold. I have filed a complaint with VRBO who has some jurisdiction with them as well as a complaint with the BBB. Sweet Homes resolution to the issues were to simply forward my emails to the local property management company, whom informed me they were unable to address the issue, that it needed to be addressed by Sweet Home directly.
The local property management company also revealed that the pool not heating was an ongoing issue. None of my calls to Sweet Home were answered, instead went directly to voicemail both during and after regular business hours. None of the phone calls were ever returned as I had requested.
In addition, the AC on the main level did not function properly. An Air Condition service did come on Monday (day 3 of 7), said he needed to order a part and would return the following day.
He never returned nor did anyone inform us why. The main floor was between 75-78 degrees the entire week as well as humid.
I just received a response from the BBB with Sweet Homes response to them regarding my allegations. They state they answered all my phone calls and emails. This simply is not true.
All I asked for was someone from Sweet Home to give me the courtesy of a phone call to inform me what the issues with these items not being fixed and how they would or would not be resolved.
This never happened.
Worst customer service I have ever been exposed to. We finally disputed the fee of $70/day with our credit card company to at least get that back.

Horrible vacation
Sweet Home Vacations did not refund my anything. Replied several times that the matter was finished by giving me the day at the condo on the backend of my stay.
I contacted Booking.Com on the complaint and they finally credited me partial refund of my loss. I'm still out money due to Sweet Home Vacation not living up to the contract on the dates involved.
Drove from Illinois to Florida on 10-14-18 was to check into our condo by 4pm. Went to the location to get keys, ect.
found none. Attempted to contact emergency personnel but got little help. Had to go to a hotel for the night at added expense to me till I could contact them on 10-15-18. Found out that Sweet Home Vacation did not pay our condo fees on time and that is why we could not move in.
Got into the condo on the evening of 10-15-18 after numerous calls. Lost two days of vacation and Sweet Home Vacation did not reimburse me for the hotel stay even though it was clearly their fault by not fulfilling the purchase agreement on the condo.
They seemed to be uncaring about our situation very unprofessional on how they conduct business. Will never go through them again.

Property at 8837 Rhodes Street Kissimmee Fl
My family and I stayed at this property from August 10-14, 2018. It is a beautiful property but there are issues.
When we arrived at the property, I had to remove the towels from the washing machine and put them into the dryer so we could use them. Two of the bedroom's comforters had stains on them. They had to be washed. The manager came to check on the property and we advised her of the stains on the comforters.
She was adamant the comforters had been washed. When we pulled the comforters from the washing machine, the stains were gone. At this point we did not think they had wash any of the bed linens so we washed all the linens.
That evening, we noticed a roach crawled out of the dish washer. We sent an email to the property manager.
We did not get response right away. The next 5 days we continued to see roaches in the kitchen and family room (1st floor). On the last day of our stay, we called the property manager. They said they did not get the email.
However found it while we were on the phone. They responded that they would have someone come and spray.
Also roaches were a natural pest for the area and probably came in due to an open door.
Hopefully this review helps. I would not recommend staying at this property.

Flies invasion
We rented property at 8516 palm harbour Dr. The place was at fly fest.
And much like other unsatisfied guest toilet paper paper towels were 1 roll items for 16 people over a 4 day. The management office does not return calls and if you do get someone there very ride.
I give this company a 1 minus. Will never use

Let me tell you that I travel to Orlando few times in a year, and started using seeet home vacation because of the ability of putting down the deposit & holding the property right away. With that being said, second time we used them, got there & the property was dirty as in they did not prepare it from last time people stayed there.
Called & waited, until they decided to put us at another property & have us credit for next time. Moved on to the next property & ac was not working, waited until the tech came out. Next trip came they offered a grilled as the credit, except we got there, grill no where to be found. Gave us another credit for next time.
Next trip came, offered us heated pool & te property was specifically requested to have a pool table. Got there no heated pool & pool table broken. Late night & non emergency issues, you out of luck. Next morning since it was Saturday, they came out said it would be heated in the next hours, that did not happen.
We we out of luck for the whole staying. No heated pool & no pool table. No resolution from management company nor sweet home vacation.
They don’t care about their customers. Simply as that.
"Self Catering" Sham by Sweet Homes, Kissimmee, Florida - False Fees
We have stayed in vacation homes through VRBO and AirBNB all over the country. Nowhere is there such a clear sham going on than in the Orlando area of Florida.
It is done by Sweet Homes, who say they have "200 homes" for rent in the area. We started with VRBO, and found a home that soon somehow got us to Sweet Homes, who said the home we had inquired about was not available, but they had others. We now we re off the VRBO site and onto the Sweet Homes site, and after agreeing to a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom for 5 days, paid $582 plus a $300 "security deposit" with Sweet Homes, by credit card. We were promised the return of the security deposit within 2 days of vacating.
Before arriving, we asked for an early check in - done it hundreds of times and it is always given - good will - but Sweet Homes ignored us. Gave the entry information to family coming from D.C. Area, who dropped off their luggage only, at about 2 p.m., 2 hours before the official check-in, who described the unit as "ready to go". They left and returned some 4 hours later, well after the check-in time.
We arrived from Los Angeles about 10 p.m. Sweet Homes wants to now charge us $75 for "early check-in" and they say it's not them, it's the "management company". If that was not outrageous enough, they pull this thing called "self catering" on us in their "policies" outline - you know, all those rules and regulations you get separate from the rental agreement. This outrageous policy calls for them to give you 2 bathrooms for 8 people over 5 days, BUT ONLY 2 ROLES OF TOILET PAPER - we ran out on the 3rd day.
It also allows them to provide you with a paper towel rack BUT NO PAPER TOWELS, with a coffee maker, BUT NO FILTERS NOR COFFEE, with a dishwasher and clothes washer, BUT NO WASHING SOAP, with a kitchen sink, BUT NO SPONGES TO CLEAN WITH, and, more outrageously, a garbage can in several rooms, BUT ONLY 2 GARBAGE BAGS and a "rule" in the management rule book (not part of the rental agreement) that we would get "fined" $150.00 if ALL garbage was not removed. Nowhere else was have we been subject to such unhealthy and unacceptable conditions when taking possession of the property. We left the unit cleaned and in the same condition we got it - we had to buy about $75 of paper towels, toilet paper, washing soap, sponges and cleaning material, and garbage bags. So now we wait for the credit of our $300 security deposit.
Some Sweet Homes representative named "Casey" now has argued with us that it's not their fault - it comes from the "management company", Easy Choice Property Managememt, so we talk to the management company, and they say it's all from Sweet Homes. We now are told we left "stains" on towels and we are being charged $15, and that because we have disputed the "early check in", they can't release our security funds back to us. This is a scam, and with 200 homes, they are ripping off people for some big bucks. Never seen this with a VRBO home and will need to advise VRBO of this scam.
The location was a nice and large condo, and met our needs, but the experience with this Sweet Homes company was unsettling - imagine 8 people trying to get by with 2 roles of toilet paper for 5 days, little alone the lack of some items every other location supplied a plenty (pretty hard to bringing such things on a plane). Cheap is all I can say - really leaves a bad taste in our mouths for visiting the "happiest place on earth"!!!

SweetHome Vacation Rental is a rip off
Rented me a vacation home, confirmed rental and charged my credit car On my way to Orlando I received an email that there was an issue with my confirmed rental and that they would move me to different rental. The new rental was a downgrade for what I had reserved and I complained when I arrived.
SweetHome vacations promised a refund of one night rental and thirty days later I still have not received it. All I get is emails promising a refund.
Save yourself and do not use this company, they act like they are in Orlando but are actually in British Columbia.

I’m happily surprised to have received a call from the supervisor & apparently the employee that dealt with the situation, was a new employee that did not handle it according to their standards. The company offered along with an apology a some extra perks, & certainly made it up.
