Swan Corporation - Tub Inclosure Review from Los Angeles, California
I purchased a tub inclosure made by swanstone, color is Burmuda Sand 5,years ago. Although there is no problem with the panels the sealant needs to be redone where the panels meet the tub.
My issue is not with the sealant (as time and water requires recalking) but the ability to find the correct color to match the existing sealant around corners etc. I called swanstone and they advised me the color they now use the burmuda sand is sienna and very orange and I would not be happy with it as it would not match the original burmuda sand sealant that was originally used. By their own admission (2 customer service agents) the sienna is not a good match even on original instalation. They referred me to another supplier, but they are out of business.
I called Swan corp. Back and they apologized and suggested other generic colors like almond or ivory.
I have a high end jacuzzi tub and putting a glaringly different color will look hideous. This company does not support its products by its own admission.
