Terrible Behavior and Bait and Switch Sales Tactics.

On March 18, 2021, I attempted to purchase a used car here from my Navy Federal Truecar buyer program. Buyer beware. Do not purchase from here. They lied multiple times about the price of a used jeep 2020 grand cherokee white. Liz, in sales lied about the price being $37,000 and the price of $27,999 was wrong on the website. I called and Liz, the internet sales manager, confirmed that the price of 27999 was right and there is a reconditioned fee of over $3,000. I explained that I have a true car certificate that shows only the dealer fee of $999 and no reconditioned fee. Liz said that I can bring it in and they will honor the true car price. I came in and the salesman was not willing to honor the price. I asked for the manager, but the manager would not come out to explain. I asked for Liz and she would not go downstairs to talk to me because of an emergency she was dealing with according to the receptionist. I am now writing this review as a warning to stay away from this dealership. There is no need to go through what I went through. Shop your hard earned money at a dealer that deserves it more. As I write this review, the manager is still hiding in the office unwilling to address my complaints. This act of avoidance is against the rules for how dealerships can operate. I will be documenting this in an official complaint to the Florida Highway and motor safety vehicles organization. I will also write a complaint to true car and the better business bureau. Lastly, I will write a complaint to the state attorney general for lying and manipulation to the consumer. There is no place for car dealerships to operate with shady business practices in Florida. I encourage all those who have experienced similar cases to do the same for this terrible and shady dealership. The New Car Sales Manager, Blake Varnado, was the one that was avoiding talking to me to resolve the issue. The sales consultant, Armstrong Chutkan, was the most unprofessional of them all. He was arguing with me over the price and I told him I want to talk to the manager but he refused to leave. He was standing uncomfortably close to me and my girlfriend. He stood there arguing with me after I told him to leave multiple times. Eventually I walked away and ignored him. He was still standing there for a few minutes until he finally left. His violent and atrocious behavior should not be anywhere near customers. Do not work with him or this dealership.

Deceptive Sales Practices

After making arrangements to purchase a vehicle online, Sutherlin Nissan changed virtually every aspect of the agreement once I arrived to take possession of the vehicle.

Preferred solution: I would like to pay the price for the vehicle I agreed to. I was also guaranteed 0% financing which I have since given up on.

New Car Sales

Salesman misrepresented the car I was buying and was in fact - not equipped with the correct options. The car was also supposed to be serviced before i got there and it wasn't. Anyway, first impressions of the salesman and dealership was less appealing to me. Long story short, i left and went to Gettyl Nissan and bought the car that I wanted, service was excellent and the sales staff were dressed properly and VERY professional. Sutherlin Nissan in Ft. Meyers is a typical "System House" Car Dealership. I would avoid this dealership LIKE THE PLAGUE - take your business to Gettyl where you can be treated professionally - but moreso, they represent themselves with integrity.

Run around

I purchased a car 9 months ago my payments are skyhigh cant afford them have tried to refinance but cant called Nissan motors where I make my payments they cant help either said go back to dealer I did explained to them my situation they know im upside down Friday may 25 2018 I spoke to several people runaround they couldn't help either instead they wanted to put me in another car to add more negative equality really im trying to keep what I have just trying to lower payment hanged up 20 minutes later I get a call from a guy named lazaro told me I heard bout your problem said he could help me just had to go in an spend 15 minutes made a 3.30 appoitment with him so he could call Nissan motors I was so excited I went out of my way to get threre arrived my previous salesguy saw me an asked why I was there said he couldn't help me he was just a salesperson I said still want to meet him called for him nothing another guy comes an says im sorry but im filling in for him he had a theraphy appointment not here got mad said why didn't he call me an cancel biggest runaround left pissed off never buy a car there no respect for women not recommending this dealer to anyone
