Worst customer service ever experienced

I ordered an item off there website which was labeled in stock. We had needed the item right away.

So we expected to see it within a few days. The company gave us no tracking number to see where it is. After almost a month. We contact them and say listen we’d like a refund, and they can keep the product.

So they immediately email back with nothing but rudeness. And actually call us liars and threaten us with legal action as well as attempting slander and defamation of character.

They’re true criminals, and should be put out of business. They’re the most untrustworthy online company I’ve ever dealt with.

Surveillent - Amp Review

Placed an order. Recieved an estimated shipping date.

Once that passed I got weary and starting reading reviews of this company. The BBB reviews say it all. I emailed company any started a dispute with paypal to reconcile. The email I recieved back was completely insulting.

Buyer beware and do your research before ordering. This was their response: Obviously you spend your time in slums of PissedConsumer. So you know that is a garbage site run by extorting foreigners. Educated customers evaluate online sites by REAL reviews where an authenticated order is matched up to a real transaction.

Using these REAL sources of how an online store operates with its customers will make you sound more educated than trying to tell PayPal that PissedConsumer is something that can be trusted. Now regarding your order it wasn’t stated as being in stock when you ordered. Now for most educated customers they will ask for a stock check before making an order that it NOT in stock or ask us for status later. Either way they will do one or the other but one thing they don’t do is jump all over the dispute button.

That’s pretty ridiculous and if that is how you do business then we can’t recommend anyone EVER do business with you online. We have requested your order be stopped and turned around and once we have confirmation that has been done this order will be cancelled and refunded.

I ordered a specialty wireless three way light control system from ElvesSupply.com and i did not get my part. I called them for a week straight and left messages, while they never returned my call.

Went to my bank and had the charges reversed. Horrible experience!

I placed an order about a month ago. I still have yet to receive it.

I have called multiple times, there is no live person- just goes to voicemail. I also emailed and no one has returned my call or emails. I knew something was not right when I did not see a tracking number. Very disappointed in how very poor customer service they have.

I would never purchase from this company ever again and hope everyone reading this doesn't either. Usually inexpensive means horrible service!

Once the internet has revealed what scam artists the owners of Surveillent are, they thought they could open up a new website - Elves Supply (elvessupply.com) and get a fresh start. Not so fast!

These people are rude, abusive, and will just hold on to your money without delivering your product.

The truth is that the owner is Chris J. Jahnke and his brother Tim Jahnke is the "owner" of elvessupply.com. Both of these guys are taking advantage of a broken supply channel system so they can resell products they're not authorized to purchase from distribution channels in the first place.

Most all reputable physical security manufactures sell ONLY to distributors (ScanSource, Anixter, TechData, Ingram Micro, ADI...etc). A distributor is responsible for purchasing and holding inventory for dozens if not hundreds of manufacturers(ie. Axis, Sony, ACTi, HID, Panasonic, Mobotix, Crestron, Milestone...etc). Distributors have their own sales, support, and customer service departments that re-sellers contact for purchasing or support. The distributor then supplies the re-seller once they have setup an account and determine the re-seller is qualified.However, most all reputable manufacturers require that re-sellers must first be trained how to sell, support, and/or install their products. Companies like Sony, Axis, HID, Panasonic and many more require this re-seller training and do not allow distributors to sell to anyone that is not authorized by them first. However, some distributors fail to follow this agreement and sell to companies who have no business selling high end physical security solutions. Once the manufacturers catches wind of this, however, it's all over for their distribution relationship and the distributor is cut off for good.

Can you think of any other situations where CEOs took advantage of a broken system for profit? How'd that turn out? Go ahead and buy from these guys. I'm sure everything will work out for the best.

They are doing what 90% of online stores do that you find on google or amazon, drop ship products from a distributor. Many manufacturers have price fixing where they want to keep prices high for their larger installer customers.

As a consumer, would not you be upset if an item you bought is marked up 200% and a store may want to sell it for lower to be competitive but are prevented from doing so by the manufacturer? Oh an by the way Amazon ignores most MAP or MFG required support but largely gets ignored due to their high volumes. I work with several vendors that this company works and sells, as well as a few in other markets, and a number of them sell direct to Amazon, and want to keep other resellers prices high so they can make more profit. Additionally due to this , your taxes are higher as the price fixing they push keeps prices high for State/federal projects as suppliers are not allowed to sell below a certain price to keep "brand value" high.

Anixter, tri-ed and other "authorized distribtrutors" in my experience provide zero support and little customer service.

So in the end, I agree good customer service is key, vendors need to stop artificially keeping prices high, fix their supply chains and stop complaining.

Have not received it yet , I have left 4 messages and 4 emails and no return of calls or email, cannot even talk to a live person,

very poor customer service would not order again, are they afraid to answer the phone or return a call or an email? Something is very fishy about this company, maybe the government should look into them and see what is going on there, fraud??????, I guess my next move is to call my bankcard co and cancel the transaction, in fact I think I will do that right now as soon as I finish this email

I Had A Very Good Experience With Surveillent.com

I was skeptical at first to say the least after reading these reviews. However, these guys have been around a long time and for the most part have some of the best prices I could find. I ordered my item and immediately emailed them to make sure they received my order. I received a response back same day. I was updated with tracking within two days and my item was delivered within one week.

I actually had a problem installing this item, they very kindly accepted the return no questions asked, and even paid for the return shipping. I think these guys have done an outstanding job. Their customer service was top of the line and I have no complaints. I will be purchasing from Surveillent.com again in the very near future.

A Little Extra work But worth it

Recently ordered a couple things from surveillent and become worried a few days later as my order was no where to be found and I had to call in to make sure that my order had actually been placed. I called in a couple times with no response which was frustrating at first but the next day I was called back and able to get my order set straight and they even pushed the shipping up for my troubles.

Very pleased with the company and their quality help.

Plus the bonus of buying at very low prices. A little extra effort to track my items down but worth it in the long run

attempted to purchase a printer through these folks through ebay. was to be a valentine's day gift...yes i am a hopeless romantic.

a month later i don't have a printer, they've dinged my account for the printer and then have the audacity to claim that they told me they never had the printer and had offered me a printer of greater value in its stead...never happened. never communicated squat to me but were eager to take my cash.

these people are the biggest liars i have ever dealt with in the business world, including used car salesmen!

Worst customer service of all time... Wow how unbelievably RUDE !!! and Just MEAN !!!

They are really nice unless you have a complaint or a return then they Threaten you, Call you names and even get Down Right Nasty. Dealing with these guys was by far the worst experience I have ever had with a on-line purchase.

I actually got paranoid thinking they would come to my house and hurt me. They actually make you click on a agreement that says you will not say anything that could be defamation to their company or employees in any way before you can even deal with them... That should be a RED FLAG right there but I clicked on it and now that I am warning people about them I am not really sure what they will do.

Anyhow thank GOD I used Paypal to do the transaction and they made it right. (I Love Paypal) This apparently IS a legit company with really low prices but if they send you a poor quality TV and you are not satisfied then be ready for some serious name calling and a LOT of verbal abuse.

Abusive and Crazy

I had an order that went fine. The problem was when I actually interacted with a live person over a non-response to a product inquiry.

Their response via E mail was silly and insulting. On the phone the pea brain owner/customer service agent told me he ought to come and kick my ***. It was infuriating but also one of the silliest, moronic episodes I've ever experienced with anyone in regards to any business transaction. The person I dealt with is unstable, angry and abusive.

They told me they would no longer be allowed to do business with them and I was to cease and desist as related to any communications. Don't worry, I will never be tempted to do additional business with him.

We needed to add this company as a vendor to our system. I sent a nice and simple email to them with this simple (and common business practice) request. Below is the reply that I received:

I recently made a purchase from Surveillent. I had been waiting for a shipping confirmation so I sent an email inquiry (since they NEVER answer their phone) and received a simialr response to this that the more emails they get the longer it is going to take them to get my item ready to ship.

Now I'm still waiting...

I just wish I had found all of the reviews on them before I placed my order. This company is a pathetic joke, please stay away!

We purchased a two way intercom system from Surveillant LLC, through Amazon.com. It did not work as

Worst online shopping experience ever. Do not shop with Surveillent LLC we contacted Surveillent via phone four times over a period of three weeks and received no response whatsoever.

We then contacted via email and finally received a response. They made no apology for lack of customer service in returning our initial phone calls and proceeded to tell us that it was our fault we purchased the wrong product, called us ignorant, liars etc. There are many unhappy consumers who have dealt with these severely mentally challenged person. They sent me a product that was defective out of the box. It happens, but instead of giving me a rma#, they made me contact the manufacturer for return ticket ID which the manufacturer said was highly unusual.

I finally got an rma# with instructions to send back the unit and box in 'like new' condition or be subject to restocking and 'other costs'. Like they are going to restock a defective item????

I just want to replace a defective unit. Why make it so hard?

If one of my employees said this to a customer they would be terminated on the spot. If its the owner of the company, they should look for a new line of work as thats not a way to treat people, especially customers.

I didn't believe the comments of others, than I found out first hand, it is very true. You don't want to purchase from them because they wil be rude and intimidating.
