Part left off cly head d-25 subaru

i had ordered this d25 subaru cly head thru autozone. i had ordered both cly heads it took a month to get the left head they said they would have to find the other head. after waiting another month i checked with autozone and at that point informed me that the cly head had been cancelled. i ordered one from subaru and got it within 2 weeks due to the fires in oregan. after assembling the engine and going to start it i had a huge oil leak. so i started looing at the engine and found the oil was coming from the top of the cly head pulled out the solenoid and checked it was dry. my daughter came by i had her turn the engine over found the leak was coming under the intake gasket on the left cly head i had recieved from surefire. i was able to move a corner of the intake gasket to see what could be the issue. what i found was surefire had left an oil galley plug out of the cly head. this particular location does not require an oil line to it it is a 5mm allen wrench small galley plug as well as going under the intake gasket. i was able to move enough of the gasket out of the was so as to get a new galley plug that i had purchased from subaru installed into the hole hopefully this is the only problem i will have. lack of confidence in their ability to do this their quality control seems to be an issue

User's recommendation: be wary of the product ordered do a complete check of what you have purchased.

LYING THIEVES

WE INSTALLED AN ENGINE PROPERLY AND IT TESTED TO HAVE NO OIL PRESSURE. WE CONTACTED SUREFIRE AND THEY WALKED US THROUGH THE TESTING PROCEDURES THEY REQUIRE. THEY DETERMINED THE ENGINE WAS BAD AND THEY SENT US A NEW ONE. AFTER THEY HAD THE DEFECT FOR A MONTH, THEY CALLED AND DENIED OUR CLAIM STATING THAT WE DID NOT SEND THE OIL PUMP BACK WITH THE ENGINE. WE NEVER REMOVED THE OIL PUMP FROM THE ENGINE. THEY TOOK IT OFF, REPLACED IT AND SOLD IT AGAIN AS IF IT NEVER HAD AN ISSUE AND DECIDED WE SHOULD TAKE THE FALL FOR THEIR LIES!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE BUY FROM SUREFIRE OR AUTOZONE.

the first engine they sent me didn't have compression on cylinder 1, the second engine they sent me had oil coming out of the head gasket all over the floor of the shop, these things are 2000 dollars for the shop to remove and replace, they say they cover 800 of it.

wow! won't be using them, sounds like a headache in the making. I already have an issue with dealing with people and companies in a different, far a way state, like face to face contact.
