Aged Propane Tank Replacement

My tank was due for replacement at my cottage. They did this when I wasnt there, turned propane off.

So no heat source. When I called to see if I could get someone to come out when I was there they said no, restarting is my problem.

If I dont like it, hire a tech! Now thats customer service!

Frustrated Customer

Superior Plus brought out a smaller Company, that I had been doing business with for quite a few years...Earlier in the year in the month of December during the most coldest month of the year. I was at approximately between 18% and 22% of gas...I contact my carrier to make them aware of this, and also the fact that and outside Agency had agreed to help me foot the cost...So I needed an voice Statement.

Well they agreed to consenting to doing this, but, they attach hazard fees, the amount of the cost to be delivered at: $3.60 per gallon other maintenance fees and also the amount to lease the tank, after all these deductions was included into this it came out to be: $456.00.. The agency cut the check for that amount...by then I was approximately at 16%of gas, this was now in January 2021. when gas was delivered. I only received 66% of gas and the amount that was already in my tank was tied and added to what was being delivered, the bill printed out 83.70% worth of gas and the amount: $342.00...I was just recently issued a bill saying that I owe them money for $5.52...Well I called and tried to explain on numerous occasions that it is the other way around you all owe me a credit...I contact the local office last week still trying to resolve this complaint, I spoke with some one and I really got a shock...I was told my account had been closed and they do not owe me anything the amount were applied to my leasing the tank and not only that but, the tank now belongs to me.

I have no record or paperwork showing this...I am now at about 20% of gas in my tank and I am again, in desperate need of gas. An outside agency have reach out to help me again.

Superior Plus Propane took over a smaller company in my area and it has been one incident after another ever since.

- The activation of a years-old stolen credit card - shouldn't that credit card information been removed from my acct? - 2 hours in phone calls to resolve - no one reviewed or verified my acct details to make certain everything else on my acct was correct

- Dropped from fuel delivery = empty tank = no heat in winter - took 4 days to correct - no phone calls to advise of contingency plan due to weather - I had to confirm my own fuel delivery

- Called several times (in 4 days) to discuss payment - no callbacks - even though mgt was on cc: on each correspondence or forwarded communication

At least with the smaller company, I knew names and was always able to resolve issues in one call.
