Order ea98434: False $55 charge and create "problem" when the cpu works in other motherboard
I bought a motherboard and CPU. I integrated the motherboard and CPU but it often refused to boot. Now I have sent it back via RMA after sending them pictures that the pins of cpu socket were NOT bent. I put the CPU in a different make of motherboard and the result has WORKED FLAWLESSLY. Now superbiiz is shaking me down for $55 after I spent $17 sending the motherboard back. They have invented this "flaw" to cover up their own flawed merchandise. I have built a number of machines including the one I am using to type this. This machine was built from their parts but the last 7 years has made everybody more dishonest. It is not only the fact that supermicro's support was ineffective.... it caused to miss out the giant in bitcoin prices...never mind 4 months of lost work..
Don't deliver on commitments
Ordered 6 video cards as a test order as I was not familiar with their site. Confirmed on phone, everything was good. I get a call the next day stating 3 of the 6 video cards that had been put aside to ship to me had "disappeared". I asked them to send the 3 remaining cards. The next day I get another call stating the other 3 that were suppose to have been shipped already had also disappeared. I was then told that there was no eta on more coming in. I was assured by 2 different employees that my order would be shipped. I'm not clear what the problem was, bad controls in warehouse, devious employees, or bad management, but it has become very clear to me that this company is not capable of delivering on their commitments. Also their website inventory is not accurate as I found out with my first attempt to order from this site. Don't let their low prices trick you into trying them as it did for me. The whole situation was a complete nightmare and they made no attempt to fix the situation they caused. I guess the saying, you get what you pay for, is true.
Beware - your CC is NOT safe with them
I'll just list the facts, you draw your own conclusions: 1) About 2 weeks after buying a motherboard from Superbiiz, Visa Fraud Alert called about suspicious charges on the card used for that purchase. 2) The charges were made at a Target in Hayward, CA, which is in Santa Clara county. 3) The local phone number listed on the Superbiiz website is in area code 408, also in Santa Clara county. 4) I live in Atlanta, GA, and this is the only purchase I have ever made from anyone in CA. Just a coincidence? I don't think so...
