Super Hot Bats - Poor customer service
I had ordered a bat almost 2 weeks ago and have not received a any information about the bat. I have tried to call them and text them and have not gotten any form of response. The website automated help does nothing and does not give any help with having an employee respond. I wouldn't recommend using this site especially if they don't have ant form of customer service.

Demand for return of property

March of 2023, now over 1 yr ago, 2 brand new softball bats (a Demarini Nautili and a Demarini Vanilla Gorilla), were shipped to SuperHotBats, c/o Bobby (see attached). This after having made full payment (charged to financial institution/ debit visa card). Payment was to have each bat modified, specifics provided to SHB/Bobby, plus shipping costs. Receipt of bats was confirmed by Bobby via text message. Unfortunately, over the course of this past year, other than an initial and fleeting message or two of work on bats being completed (I do have phone records) and broken promises of bats being shipped back on specific dates, (no videos of work was ever provided, as promised on business site), SHB/Bobby have ignored any and all attempts, nearly 100, to communicate, be it via phone v.m. left, text messages to number provided, and/or live chat on SHB business website. Not only has there been dead silence, a conscious effort to ignore the consumer while ilkegally holding my property (now bordering on criminal theft), SHB/Bobby has refused to respond to requests to just simply return my property (2 brand new bats, combined value of $750-$1000 usd). The request and expected follow through by SHB/Bobby is simple - return of my property, immediately, both bats, as described, insured, tracked; a full refund; even if work was done, as video's were never provided and and as stated as an expectations on SHB website), monies paid to do so to be refunded as per SHB/Bobby's stated business policy; a cashiers check for $227.60, inclusive of original amounts I had paid to SHB/Bobby in March 2023; plus my original shipping costs. If requests are not met, please be informed that I am in consideration of swift legal action against both SHB and Bobby personally for unethical and illegal business practices, criminal action/ theft of property.

Bat purchased for Homerun derby

Ive been using Bobby for 12 years. He is one of the most honest business people out there.

I heard through a someone on fb that couldnt afford a new bat due to losing his job. He had originally ordered through super hot bats but requested his money back because he needed them for bills. Bobby asked how much his bills were and not only refunded him but then sent him $1500 to cover his bills for the month. 3 days a bat box came in the mail With the brand new bat.

Im so sick of people getting on here and lying just to try and ruin someones business. I can tell you Bobby has the hottest bats around and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.

Typical post from Bobby himself to try and save face for his terrible business practices. He did this for his Google reviews as well.

Interesting that the review comes out of Atlanta, when his business is conveniently located outside that area!

Totally false and fake comment likely created by business owner. I have been defrauded of my money for bat repair from this company and also they kept my bat and never returned it

Do not buy from them never respond, have bats they say have in stock and they don’t. Then they send other models out and tell you this is better. They are not a business you want to deal with.

Purchased a new softball bat directly off their website, SuperHotBats.com...I waited several weeks until I finally got ahold of the owner via email, asking him “when am I going to receive the softball bat I paid for weeks ago?” He responded “ASAP, I’m 2 weeks behind schedule”...Okay, that’s really not my problem, and a good business owner would reach out to the customer first, notifying them of this situation, but I let it go and gave him a chance to get things straightened out. I patiently waited another 4 additional weeks before trying to get ahold of him again, because of course, I hadn’t received anything in the mail, nor had I received any updates or tracking numbers via email, phone, text message, etc. I tried contacting him in every possible way, even messaging him through Facebook and his associated eBay account. It was obvious at this point he was avoiding contact with me at all possible costs, so it became clear he is just scamming me and sold me a fake product that doesn’t actually exist. Thankfully, I paid via PayPal, so I immediately filed a dispute since it’s been over 6 weeks since the date of purchase and I haven’t received anything whatsoever, not even a tracking number or update email. PayPal tried contacting him for nearly 10 days until he responded with nothing more than a USPS tracking number. Okay great, finally getting somewhere....Except that he uploaded an invalid tracking number. It was a tracking number from 2 weeks ago that he created and is still in “Pre-Shipment” status, meaning nothing has been dropped off at a post office location to be shipped out. I waited a few more days until PayPal finally closed the case and ruled it in my favor, and withdrew the full amount (near $200) from his PayPal account and deposited it back into my account. Of course, I posted a negative review about this terrible customer service experience I had doing business with this guy. The owner had the audacity to reply back to my review, claiming that “he shipped out the item weeks ago and USPS attempted delivery 3 times and I was too lazy to pick it up from the post office, so it was sent back to him and he issued me the refund”...Absolutely every single part of his ridiculous response is just a blatant lie. The very tracking number he provided to myself and PayPal still shows the item was never taken to a post office and thus NEVER shipped out. I also contacted USPS and inquired about any attempted package deliveries to my address, which they have absolutely no record of, nor does my USPS Informed Delivery account show any packages that were “attempted to be delivered” and waiting at my local post office. Also, the tracking info he provided shows that he never purchased the Signature Confirmation delivery option, thus USPS wouldn’t “attempt a delivery”, they would simply leave the package at my back porch door like they do every week when I receive packages. His last lie about him refunding me is a complete joke. I forwarded him the email results of the PayPal dispute investigation (which he already received from them), to remind him that PayPal forced him to refund me...it wasn’t an option. They withdrew my payment from his account because he never delivered the product. This guy is absolutely shameless and is by far the worst person I’ve ever had to deal with regarding online shopping. He has a pretty long standing history of this exact same issue with previous customers after I researched all of the complaints filed against his business on the Better Business Bureau’s website. Not surprisingly, he has responded to all of the complaints in the exact same fashion, where he completely blames the customer and makes up total lies about “attempted deliveries” and fake conversations that never took place. I would sincerely caution anyone thinking about purchasing anything from this scam artist. He is notorious for lying and stealing his customer’s money. There are plenty of other vendors out there who have much more trustworthy, legitimate and efficient businesses at the same, if not better prices. Bottom line, Bobby is equivalent an overgrown child pretending to run a softball bat store. Just like a child, when he gets caught, he throws a temper tantrum like a 2 year old and starts lying to avoid blame. Truly pathetic behavior for an “adult male”

Preferred solution: Send me my bat...according to your Facebook “you get a personalized video with serial # sent to you, or else it’s free!”...You never sent me a video, so my bat is free...(hopefully you’re not falsely advertising!)
