Bed Bug INFESTATION
- - 2023: new owner; bed bugs began; no room change.

Super 7 Motel in Joplin Missouri ( 3031 S Rangeline Rd ) - We were there a little over 2 yrs and no issues until July 2023 - when a new owner took over the motel - the bed bug infestation began at the start of summer ( May/June ) and we told the office multiple times about it and they refused to do anything ( wouldn't even offer us a new room nor replace the mattresses ) we have a toddler under 5 who was getting ate up with bed bug bites and they knew it, so my wife filed a report through the Board of Health and they sent an inspector to the motel to investigate the bed bug infestation and sure enough multiple rooms including ours were INFESTED WITH BED BUGS and the Inspector told the manager she could NOT remove anyone from the property while a case is ongoing but the moment he left the parking lot the manager kicked us out and threatened to have us arrested. This motel wouldn't even refund us our money back even though we just paid them $300 on July 21, 2023 and they kicked us out on July 25 only because the Board of Health sent an inspector out, I tried to get my money back and the manager said No and to sue her ( which my wife plans on doing she's hiring a lawyer )!
This particular Motel is ran by foreigners who don't even speak English and definitely don't run a business accordingly to the American Laws!! This particular motel is the nasty motel we have ever seen with prostitution in every room, drug dealers including the staff, *** heads wandering around 24/7 stealing from the property and guests, homeless sleeping under the stairs and around the dumpsters, two dumpsters full of garbage and garbage overflowing on the ground, garbage in the parking lot and around the building, housekeeping gives you dirty stained up towels and bedding, TV's don't work, refrigerators full of roaches and every room is full of roaches...
It amazes me how this particular motel is still up and running especially when nearby businesses are constantly complaining about the guests and staff and the garbage getting onto their property. The City of Joplin Missouri needs to do a better job at running their city and shut this nasty Motel down!!
