I work as a real estate agent and had someone looking for something close to the beach. We went to Sunrise Harbor and my client decided to sign right there.
He moved into his unit back in February, place looked nice and everyone we saw seemed happy. I paid ZRS management $90 and submitted a vendor packet so I could be paid a commission. It is 90 days later and I have still not been paid. Owner decided to switched over their system and have been telling me "the check is in the mail" for 3 months.
I was even told it would be overnighted by the regional manager, Mrs.
Norman. Horribly managed - you're better off finding a house to rent.
Awful Apartments
Sunrise Harbor Apartments are poorly run and poorly managed, and overpriced for what you get. Most recently, they've closed the entire roof deck and the larger of the two pools, and have refused to provide any of the residents (who used the roof deck and pool frequently) with any kind of a rent credit or other compensation for the reduction in value that they are receiving as a result of the closure.
This seems dubious under applicable property law.
The building further has failed to provide any sort of a timeline for how long the roof deck and pool will be closed - it could be years! I personally enjoyed exercising by swimming laps in the pool, and will now need to pay for a gym membership to exercise elsewhere.

Sunrise Harbor is a fantastic place to live, if you're looking for a very, very tall roach motel, which feels like it was built exclusively from tooth picks and chewing gum. The walls are so paper thin, I've had to listen to my neighbor's terrible television watching for a year now.
"So You Think You Can Dance," "The Bachelor," and worst of all, "American Ninja Warrior." And the sex noises!! Oh god, the sex noises! I will never forget them, they will haunt my dreams.
Look elsewhere for residence, for the love of god, look elsewhere. For your sanity.

Sunrise Harbor Apartments are just the absolute worst place to live, maybe on the planet. I can't say for sure, not having seen the entire planet, but this place is pretty bottom of the barrel.
If you are considering living here, I would advise you strongly against it, based on two years of (terrible) experience at Sunrise Harbor. Live literally anywhere else, and thank me later.

Rooftop pools are known to leak. Post Mass in DC had that problem too and you could see leak stains in the floor ceiling below.
Again the management are snooty and intrusive. The pool gang consists of coeds and dirty old men, so it enables the hot local sugar daddy scene. The residents have this class conscious wealth thing all over the place based on which floor you live. Grind parties and vanity are the order of the day.
Hate to imagine the baaly smells and strange fish in the pool. No wonder the pool starts to leak because you cant swim in it more like stand lapsit and show off contours so many people crowd in.
