Arrogant and snobby employees! Warning DON'T STEP FOOT IN THAT CLINIC!

I was talked to by the dentist whom is also the owner very rudely. He was very arrogant .

I had planned on spending 14,000 dollars worth of services , with cash as my insurance is over this month. I happen to come into some money and I'm getting my teeth done. It will definitely not be at sunrise dental , even though they give a discount to union workers. There is much more to say bad but I don't want to waste my time on them.

I more thing, they did not do what I wanted 1st because they are money hungry. ?

This is ONLY with the BELLEVUE office . Other offices are great.

In a couple of words I would like to sum up my experience at Sunrise dental of Bellevue. the doctor was rude as well as they lack customer service experience at the front desk is rude .

They cancel appointments on you without any notice and I just have never experienced anything so tacky and disgusting in my life I will never go back to them again. its okay for them to cancel appointments on us as customers but when I cancel things and give them what they require and that is a 24 hour notice I was told that that wasn't sufficient I don't understand their practice nor will I ever be subjected to this again.

I Went for a cleaning. Then I went for a filling.

My part $39. I went back for my second filling. I was told I owe $82 for my cleaning that is covered. That I will owe more for the filling that I got and that I will owe twice what I was told for the filling I was to receive today.

They are very dishonest in pricing.

They had me there 3 times then said I owe all of this money. That's BS.

Very rude and pushy. Would not give me xrays when I asked for them the following week. Wanted to get another opinion. Had to pay to have x ray re done. Nothing wrong other than the cleaning which is what I went there for in the first place.

A total rip off. Wonder why they are still in business.

The place did not even look that clean. Equipment looked 100 years old. Made an appt for a cleaning and the said that they had to take x ray and an exam first. Did not matter what I wanted done. Problem was I had insurance and they wanted to make sure they got the money.

Ok, so I switched dentists because mines retired. I saw the commercials for Sunrise Dental and silly me I expected a dental office, not a dental farm with a million bays paralleled like stables with only cabinets separating each.

In this lovely little semi-private dental bay, I had the pleasure of hearing all about the patient next to me’s veneer plans, brown tooth, etc and I’m sure she heard about my dental as well. Hello!!!!! Has anyone here ever heard of HIPAA?!!! This place has confidentiality violations all over the place.

I went for the first time six months ago and was put off by the clinic style setting but let it go because the hygienist was pleasant and I was on the end bay with only one fake cabinet wall and no patient beside me. I recently returned for my six month cleaning only to find that not only would I not have the same hygenist as previously specified but that the entire staff with the exception of the pleasant front desk clerk and obnoxious check out girl had changed. This should’ve been a clue that this was not the place for me; however, against my better judgment I continued with the appointment. The new hygienist was pleasant and fast.

Once she finished she left to do another cleaning, of course, because it’s the emergency room of dental offices. I was told that the dentist and assistant would be in to see me momentarily. Well momentarily was over 20 minutes….Absolutely ridiculous!!!! I’ve never had a cleaning where the dentist didn’t immediately come in to conduct the exam directly following the cleaning.

Finally, the no name dentist comes strolling in. I refer to her as the “no name dentist” because she didn’t even bother to introduce herself, as if though I’ve never seen her in my life, I should know her. Dr. Pompous Pants comes strolling in, all pumped on what seemed to be testosterone and 37 cups of coffee, and commenced to start talking to me.

I interrupted her to introduce myself at which time she finally said that her name was Dr. Hansen. I was already irritated by the wait but the presumptuous entrance sans apology took the cake. Then she promptly dove in explaining all that SHE believed was wrong with my teeth after knowing me for an entire 2 minutes.

Did I believe her?!! I most certainly did not. Not because there could be nothing wrong with my teeth but because dentists who have treated me for years cited none of these issues. However Dr.

Pompous Pants, whom I just heard talk the lady in the next bay’s minor request up to a $8,000 reconstruction bill, looked at my x-rays for 3 seconds and magically diagnosed me. Get real!!!! Dr. Pompous Pants is in the business of making money.

I will be getting a second opinion from a dentist who conducts business in an office with a permanent staff not a puppy mill with a revolving door of 15 second doctors.

In essence if you’re looking for a dental practice with the air of a free clinic, a fast talking, pompous, tardy dentist, a condescending dental assistant, along with an obnoxious check-out girl who’s unaware that she’s replaceable then Sunrise Dental on Renaissance Parkway in Durham, NC is the place for you!!!! You’ll get to play “guess who” every time you go in for an appointment because the dentist, hygienist, and dental assistant will always be different.

This is a factory not a dental practice. I went in for a cleaning and they told me I need 8 fillings. I told them I'm not comfortable without a second opinion. When I asked for my x-rays, they were really rude. I did manage to get my x-rays and went to another dentist who said I don't need any filling.

They were so pushy I just felt really uncomfortable. I came out feeling like I was in the wrong place and these people were a little shady.

This was a very bad experience for me.
