Buyer Beware. I’ve owned Oakley prescription sunglasses for fifteen years.
In 2013 due to a prescription change, I had new lenses made. Within 21 months the iridium coating failed. I received warranty replacements but sadly within 12 months the coating failed again! The representative I spoke with on October 21, 2016 assured me he would get back with me on October 24.
When he did not, I spoke with another representative on October 26 who assured me that your warranty department would be contacting me by email. When they did not, I spoke with a third representative on October 28 that took my phone number and assured me they would contact the first representative I spoke with.
I've since written their VP of Sales. It’s been 4 months and no one has contacted me.

Spent $250. At Oakley store for sunglasses that hardly were ever worn, then upon wearing them I somehow got a light scratch on the lens; upon taking them back to the store to buy a new lens I was told it would cost me another $130.
Plus tax to buy replacement... LOL, wanted a mirror imeadiately to see if there was a giant "S" on my forehead from wearing them, because they gave a loyal customer that allready owned 3 pairs of Oakley sunglasses a ridiculous price saying the material is large in size and cost more. The company website shows replacement for these lens to be $110.; so I must have been paying for their lunches at the outlet store in Estero, Florida. I strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for better quality sunglasses to avoid the unpleasant experience that I received when trying to be a loyal customer.
My family will never own any Oakley branded products in the future. Oh, I was offered 25% discount to trade them in and buy a brand new pair with frame.
They have lost out on customer loyalty for future sales, also note that the scratch is very minimal and they will be put in my tackle box for next fishing trip. Please forward this information to anyone you know considering the purchase of Oakley brand product and tell them that the company doesn't stand behind the brand name ever.
