Puppy Scammed By Sundance Westie Breeder
- - Westie breeder asked for a deposit before litter confirmation.

Unethical breeder who is not committed to Westies and Not committed to people who love them. This breeder asked for my deposit before the litter of puppies were confirmed.
I paid it in good faith and based on recommendations she provided. While still waiting to confirm the litter she announced that she just got married and will be quitting the business. I was devastated but because of my commitment I did not back out. The pregnancy was confirmed but then my family experienced an health crisis so I asked to be refunded because I cannot apply my deposit to a future litter since she will not have anymore litters.

She claimed that the contract said NO refunds but the contract did not mention anything about not receiving a refund if she quit the business and I can now not apply my deposit to future litters. She should honor her customers by being transparent as I could have found an another breeder.
Now she has $400 of my money which means that I will need to come up with another deposit to provide to another breeder. Only highly unethical breeders would engage in scamming practices involving live animals
