***Buyers Beware***

I have bought several new boats in the course of my life and never dealt with such an unprofessional dealership as Sundance Marine of Jensen Beach and Tony Rossell their sales associate in particular.

Upon taking delivery of my new boat I discovered there were two tears in the upholstery, the GPS was not working, a speaker was out, the trim indicator was not working, the gas gauge was not working properly and there were two places where the fiberglass needed to be repaired. The boat was also titled incorrectly.

Dealing with their team after they have received payment is a compete nightmare.

I bought two new Formula boats, the sales representative was very nice but unfortunately service and repair staff are awful. Both boats had several defective issues and Sundance has made it really a nightmare to have those issues fixed.

They have charged me huge amounts for the repair of those defects, but in many instances after several visits the defects continue just as before. I have tried to be patient but it has been a real challenge.

I sincerely do not recommend that you buy a boat from Sundance. If you want to be sure that your boat will run properly, find another seller that guarantees good service.

*** THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS BY FAR THE VERY WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN.

This is the 3rd time this year ( 2015 ) my boat was damaged by their Forklift.

1st time - Keel was scraped on the rack taken down to bare fiberglass. ( They Repaired it in 2 weeks )

2nd time - Crushed my boat windshield on rack. ( Took - 110 Days to Repair ) !!!

3rd - Diesel Exhaust Damage by Forklift “due to no ventilation on their indoor storage building”. Never Fixed Indoor Storage Ventilation - Non Existent. Your boat will be black from diesel soot.

4th - Termites *** in my boat due to the “Wooden Racks” having Live Termites. ( Repaired my storage rack – ( Took - 2 months ) – To Repair After Numerous Complaints.

10/10/15 - I noticed my Dock Lines had been removed from my boat….why were my dock lines were removed from my boat ??? ….. They are not for their use !!! I bought new ones myself at West Marine. They tried to give me dock lines, I refused them !!!

*** Our 2 boats we had stored there for 2 years, have been moved to a safe place !!!

My boat got burglarized while in their possession in their Ft Lauderdale marina and maintenance center. They refused to compensate me for the replacement GPS even though my boat was inside their building.

All they had were a couple of cheap locks and *** cameras to look at after the fact. I haven't heard a peep from management about the incident. They have terrible customer service, which really bugs me since even though I bought the boat from them. By comparison, I own a new Jaguar car and if I stop by the dealer, they wash it and entertain me with coffee and cookies.

They know customer service, something that doesn't exist at Sundance.

Steer clear.

I had an extremely negative experience with Sundance Marine. The final outcome was centered around what suited their best interest, not their customer. I filed a complaint with the BBB if you would like to see further information on my complaint.

I paid them over $4000.00 in full and the following are the results: they applied Trilux paint to my running gear and it was already deteriorating within 13 days. They returned my boat to me in deplorable condition to include yellow stains I cannot remove. They replaced Shaft Seals and those are now leaking. I will have to pay a haul-out fee in addition now to have the work re-done. All I can hope for now is that the blister repairs and bottom paint will hold up.

This is not a trustworthy business to deal with. I would warn anyone looking to do business with them to reconsider. Their work is INFERIOR and DEFECTIVE & the customer service is DISGRACEFUL!!
