Horrible experience. Stay away. Damaged vehicle when delivered.

Driver noted damage on car when delivered that was not noted when they picked up the car. Suncoast never responded to telephone calls--Mike may be part owner or employee who never did anything to investigate my complaints.

They will not take any responsibility with respect to damage done while the car is in transit. The lady (owner) hires trucking companies without checking them out for reliability and safe transport of vehicles. All they are interested in is getting their $150 commission. They must operate out of their home as all they do is look at a board with listings of cars to be transported across the country.

Then they chose one that may accept an offer of what the party who wants the auto shipped is willing to pay. The last thing they are concerned with is professionalism with the trucking company they hire to deliver the automobile.

DISHONEST, RUDE, AND LUCKY TO BE IN BUSINESS

I had to endure rude voice mails and text messaging from Simeon... obviously customer service was not included in his training.

My vehicle was NOT picked up on the scheduled pick up day. I had taken the day off and Suncoast did not even provide me the courtesy of calling to tell me the vehicle was not going to be picked up.

My receipt states I would pay a $250 deposit, but they charged me $300. Upon attempting to dispute this with the Better Business Bureau, they still would not own up to that and refused to credit back the $50.

They have a money back guarantee that states if your vehicle is not picked up as scheduled, the deposit will be refunded... yeah, they don't honor that guarantee, either.

This company is deceitful and dishonest. DO NOT do business with them.

The total amount contracted for was not changed, the total amount stayed the same and customer just payed $50 less on the cod amount. Money back guarantee is if the car isn't transported not if the carrier ran a day late for pick up.

Vehicle has been transported as contracted. As stated on the contract and dispatch notice, the times may be estimated until the carrier gets close as they have to deal with traffic, bad weather, back ups at weigh stations or other pick up and deliveries. Which is something this customer clearly does not understand.

To clarify some things anyone can try and call here and you will see that the phones get answered. Call when business hours are closed and you would need to leave a message so we know you are calling and we can call you back once we are open again.

People have to understanding something, we are a broker and in this industry this means that we have access to every car hauler in the united states, are we responsible for every car hauler out there?

definitely not. Is it up to us as the broker to pick the company for the customer? absolutely not.

All we can do is present the carriers that are available on any given route and it is ABSOLUTELY THE CUSTOMERS DECISION ON WHO THEY CHOOSE TO ACCEPT TO CARRY THEIR VEHICLES. And this customer failed to understand any of this and has chosen to post negative reviews towards us.

And also understand that any of the thousands of brokers out there they could of chosen from the carriers would of been the same ones presented to them. When vehicles are dispatched customers get a dispatch notice which states the ESTIMATED PICK UP AND DELIVERY TIMES including with the carriers direct info in case they would like to contact them which this customer did not and expected something that she did not understand.

All these claims of money lost are not true.To bad this site doesn't require proof so companies can defend themselves and instead just lets anyone rant as they will.

Alert on auto transport company

I have never been contacted by Suncoast and probably never will. They have obviously washed their hands of this whole incident. I doubt they have ever heard of the phrase \"customer service\". They could care less about the customer. They refunded my deposit so feel that they are not responsible for my loss.

Just another scam company preying on consumers.

I have filed complaints with the U.S. D.O.T. and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. They were completely useless and will not help me. Just two more useless government agencies our tax dollars pay for.

I can only say to you out there that take notice of my incident and do not use Suncoast Auto Transport or Finish Line Auto Transport. Youu will be sorry.

DO NOT USE SUNCOAST AUTO TRANSPORT IN PLANTATION, FLORIDA! I hired Suncoast to transport a car for me.

They in turn sub-contracted to Finish Line Auto transport in Apple Valley, CA. Finish Line turned out to be a bogus company. They never deliverd my car. Suncoast never checked this company before hiring them for the transport.

I had to pick up my car. I lost $750.00 in transportation fees, $350.00 in airline tickets and $670.00 in damage to my car caused by the bogus company Suncoast hired. I trusted Suncoast with the transportation of my car and they failed miserably! Their customer service was non existent.They made no effort to help me.I dont care what their contract stated.

Suncoast was ultimately responsible for this job. They paid me back the $150.00 I gave them as a booking fee only after I complained about what occurred. They probably did it to shut me up and wash their hands of this whole issue. For all I know they probably are in bed with Finish Line.

What happened to me was criminal in nature, a total fraud.

I can't say this enough....DO NOT USE SUNCOAST. I will be reviewing the other company also.

To clarify some things from all of these comments, anyone can try and call here and you will see that the phones get answered, this claim of all this money owed is completely untrue as transport money was given back to customer and damages were not caused, that is a false accusation. If the carrier did do damage, the insurance would of obviously covered it.

I must laugh at Suncoast's response. Especially the last line...

all lies. This company is not honest and dependable. And the BBB is ridiculous for rating them A-. I opened a dispute through the BBB with this company and the BBB did nothing but forward emails.

This company responded with lies that they couldn't even keep straight, contradicting themselves from one response to the next. Absolutely pathetic.

It's funny that in Suncoasts response to my comment they give a story about my car being on a transport that was in an accident. That is such a bogus claim.

I spoke with the Police Officer in Colorado who handled the accident. He informed me that my car was not on that transport. I have all of that officers information. My car never left its original location in California the whole time.

It was being used by the workers at Finish Line Auto who Suncoast hired. Just another lie from Suncoast. I'm sure Suncoast split my 750 dollars with Finish Line.

Yeah, and your response is full of inaccuracies. You NEVER worked diligently to do anything for me regarding FinishLine.

Every time I called you it seemed I was an inconvenience to you. I did more work on finding out information in regards to my car then you ever did which included me contacting law enforement. You never returned my calls and I had to constantly call you for updates. Another lie is that you never tried to get me another carrier.

You told me that was my responsibility and that of FinishLine. Yeah, maybe you have an "A" with the BBB, but everyone knows those ratings can be fudged by the businesses being rated. My comment on your company is a true and accurate one. You hired a bogus company, you failed to check that company thoroughly and I lost 750.00 because of your ineptness.

Sun coast is a Joke! And lies!

.Promised my friend his new car from California to Long Island New York. Not only were they 2 days late picking up the car but but then 3 more days late on the delivery and now delivering a brand new car at night!! What damaged did they do to the car crosses my mind, we will have to wait and see. Tonight, Suncoast instead of excepting any responsibility !!

This is a ridiculous claim and this entire review is completely inaccurate and untruthful. This vehicle was not even ready when the driver arrived on pick up because of the negligence of the customer.

The driver waited around for 2 days to load this vehicle and because of this, got stuck in a snowstorm which caused delays and damage to carriers truck. We refunded the customers money AS SOON as the carrier was delayed which we did not have to do and still maintained contact with this person and the carrier. The carrier (Finish Line) had a 5 star rating on the national network when this vehicle was dispatched to them. We were in contact with the driver and customer and the driver spoke to customer directly to arrange the pick up of this vehicle so obviously there are no 'ghost numbers' as this person claims.

The carrier agreed to refund the total amount back to this person because of Suncoast.

It is unfortunate that the carriers truck got seriously damaged in the snow storm and that this caused delays in the vehicle being transported and Suncoast worked diligently to rectify the situation by rescheduling another carrier once weather permitted but this person declined. For a more accurate description of our company and how we do business you can go to the BBB where we are A rated or transport reviews to see that we are an honest, dependable, 5 star company.

RIPOFF ALERT!

SunCoast RV - Budget Truck Rental, Clarksville, TN

We reserved a Budget Truck over the internet using a credit card. When we arrived at Suncoast RV we paid cash for the rental to an older man.

After returning the truck to another location we learned SunCoast RV had charged our credit card for the rental as well. We tried calling several times unsuccessfully to reach this older man. With each call we always reached a woman claiming to be his daughter who stated she had no idea what we were talking about and would have to speak with her father who now was never around.

Our credit card apathetically disputed the charges so we were stuck getting ripped off. We contacted the BBB and filed a claim with them as well.
