Frames broken not replaced

Lifetime warranty was one of the main reasons I purchased these overly priced glasses. My frame has broken numerous times both sides!!!

When I contacted the company here is the response that I was sent. Sorry to say but we are no longer in the sunglass business. We do not have any replacement frames or lens left. This company is still doing business, why are they not honoring their commitment? I would think they would find this to be very bad business indeed.

Warranty? What's that???

Sunbuster Glasses - Warranty?  What's that???

I also just posted as a comment to another with the same issue.

I bought their shooting glasses kit (dude?) AND bought a couple optional lenses.... one day the frame breaks - just falls apart at the hinge.

"no biggie, lifetime warranty and they're right up the road" Yep - first they didn't want to deal with me as a walk-in, then they charged me the 'shipping charge' of $10 for the replacement frame - AND $29 for the backup frame I decided was a good idea... Next time a frame broke I was told they discontinued that model - Too bad, *** off, we're not honoring the warranty (then they should REFUND MY MONEY or offer a pair of current glasses) Now just a few days ago my backup frame *** - just fell apart in my hand... Really now, these things likely only cost them a few cents from the chinese factory... if they're going to discontinue it they need to plan for warranty replacements and have parts in stock!

HOLY ***! and just now I opened the case to take a pic to post...

and THE OTHER SIDE HAS FALLEN OFF! this was untouched in the original case!!!

Same thing happened to me got 3 sets of frames .........all total junk.....totally worthless but I have about 7 lenses....stay away from these glasses the frames disintegrate

Just recently? - curious which model?....

Seeing your post gets me ticked off again - I wonder if I can still take them to court. it's not that long yet.

"Lifetime Warranty" needs to be honored one way or another. Repair, Replace, Refund - make it right.

Do not honor "Lifetime Warranty"

Gustbuster currently owns Sunbuster, and still advertising the Sunbuster line of eyesore on their corporate website and still maintains the Sunbuster website. I purchased a pair of Sunbuster "SportEnhancementEyeware - S.E.E.".

The packaging claims a lifetime warranty. My frame broke and when I contacted them they inform me that they don't manufacture that model any longer and will not honor the warranty. A complete and dishonest RIPOFF! I intend to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of New York State.

I had the same problem - the FIRST time the frame just fell apart at the hinge I stopped in to the company - it's ten minutes from my home. they CHARGED me $10 for the replacement frame, and I asked for a second, backup frame - another $29.

When the NEXT one broke, I stopped in for another frame (gotta make sure I have a backup set...) I got the 'discontinued' story.

I paid a good bit of money for the frames, and some extra option lenses (near $100). Now just last weekend I had my last frame just fall apart - IN MY HANDS - I wasn't stressing them at all, not putting them on, just holding them and the ear bow fell apart.

SunBuster Does Not Support Their Products

I just emailed SunBuster today to enquire about new lenses and a spare frame so I could use one for mountain biking and one for shooting without having to constantly shift back and forth. Received a terse reply that "they were no longer in the shooting industry".

No attempt to up sell, or be friendly in any way, just one terse line. In other words, go away.... Well, I will, and I chose to go here and voice my opinion.

My investment will gradually become worthless as the lenses get scratched / broken. Too bad, as I used the prescription inserts sold by Sved Optics (who are totally cool, by the way). Those will be useless now also.

I told them that with customer service like that, they would soon not be in ANY industry. Sent them a link to Dale Carnegie customer service training.

SunBuster Glasses Warranty meaningless

Bought Sunbuster Shooting glasses for my son about 3-4 years ago based on the

still advertised "Unlimited Lifetime Warranty".

The glasses frame failed, and I was willing to pay the $10.00 to have a new frame

sent under their warranty provisions.

I was informed that they changed their frame design, and the "Unlimited Lifetime Warranty"

they still advertise does not apply,,,,,,sorry!

Be very concerned about a company who does business in this manner. All I wanted them to do was to

honor their stated warranty. Apparently, the "Unlimited Lifetime Warranty" is only good until they

decide they need to "tweak" the design, so they no longer have to honor the advertised "Unlimited

Lifetime Warranty"
