GM Impala Complaint

AI Highlights
  • - Bought a 2012 Impala Programed car on 6/21/2013; CarFax clear.
  • - Front-end noise; GM dealer said wrecked and bent frame; dealer offers fix.

We purchased a 2012 Impala Programed car on 6/21/2013. We did a car fax on this car and it did not show any problems.

The dealer we purchased it off had it for 1 year before we purchased it. We had them switch tires and aligned.

After having this car for a couple of weeks there was a noticeable noise in the front in. We took it to a local GM dealership and they took one 5 minute look around and informed us this was a wrecked car.

This never showed up on the Car-Fax report. They suggested we take it back to the place we purchased the vehicle. The original dealership confirmed after looking at the car that it had a bent body frame. Their solution was to fix the car and supposedly make this right.

We did not buy a wrecked car and don't want a wreck car.

After bringing the car home with us and speaking to our Insurance company and a lawyer we are more concerned about letting them fix the vehicle.
