Low Quality GoldFish
Purchased 24 lot of Sarassa goldfish from their online store (Sugar Creek Fishery) delivered on 26 June 2018. All fish arrived alive but they looked very thin compared to other fish of similar size. All fish still alive the following morning but were not very active, then they randomly started to act strangely. At varying times over the last 2+ weeks one or two fish would start acting very sluggish/not moving like they were sleeping, sometimes just barely moving... Many times I would scope the fish out of the water thinking they were dead and then they would move. Once this behavior started, that specific fish would be dead within 48 hours. At this point, at least 16 out of the 26 received have died. Fish seem to be of poor quality and poor health. I have been keeping fish for over 40 years and have never seen anything like this.
