Suburban Propane doesn't have a schedule they follow for refilling the tank, they raise prices without notifying customers, they overfill the tanks and then it's not their problem.

After 10 years of battling these people every time I get a bill, I have had enough. At times pricing is nearly $6/gallon! Pricing does not adjust with fuel prices. Why does it matter how much I use per year to set my pricing!? Now my local office has downsized and has 1 worker and closes daily at 1. I was a loyal customer for 5 years. Each year they would quote a price like 3.24 per gallon, I would call and they would get a "supervisor to lower the rate to 2.99"... I would see adds for lower prices and think they were a scam, but finally got fed up and called a new company. $2.39 with a one time fill up at 2.09 with the first 100 gallons free, no tank delivery fee. After 28 yrs of useing them for propane we changed company took them 10 days to come out and get the 1,000 gal tank and aftrr i sent a message to main Facebook now we had $13.71 balance they sent us a bill for close out fee for $13.71 what a joke but instead of balance being 0 they are saying we owe them $13.71 lol they need some new accountant people lol thank god i kept all my paperwork

Every bill that I have received from Suburban I have had to dispute. Either they overcharged per gal. on propane which got lowered after I questioned it. They also double billed me on tank rental. Two duplicate line items for one tank rental, several years in a row, which was corrected after disputing. Needless to say, I should not have had to do this every time I got a bill from them. The absolute worst!! A month ago my delivery guy slipped and fell into my truck causing damage.he was very apologetic, promising me that his 'boss' would be calling to arrange repair. Two weeks went bye and i heard nothing. I did go and get two estimates in anticipation of the matter being dealt with quickly. Gas turned off Wednesday during day when I am not home. After hours I learn it is off too late to react. I go online and pay $200. Called next morning to set up a plan. They were not going to help. I received a check to pay balance on Thursday evening but could not bank till Friday. Check did not clear til Saturday, paid the balance and called to get service. No service on Saturday, will have to wait til Monday to reconnect or pay an additional... Read more

As 10-year customers we have always payed on time religiously but signed up for Suburban propane's budget plan. It was not explained that the amount due is not the actual amount owed so we payed the amount due for months to find a $1000 balance in our account, for which they put us on hold. When you have 300 credit with them and run out of propane and they charge $90 emergency charge why did you deliver like usual they start at good prices now most expensive don't waste your time with this company

was a customer with 2 tanks. Called the company and scheduled a visit to get a quote for a new large underground tank. They missed appointment. Once they finally came out I've never gotten a call back from them, even after calling the office 11 times over a span of two weeks. Don't do business with this company- HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
