Bogus charges
I had gone to Dr Sunit Singhal for annual physical exam in Feb 2019. after the usual blood work, ECG etc, Dr Sunit told me that everything looks good and somebody will call me if there are any concerns about my blood report.
Annual Physical exam falls under preventive services and insurance pays 100% of the cost. When the bill arrived, I was surprised to see Office visit charges in addition to preventive services. I tried reaching Dr Sunit Singhal several times to understand why he has charged me for Office visit but he won't respond. Since I have my well being rewards account with my insurance company, office visit charges got automatically paid out of my rewards account.
Now I am made to run after my own money to get it back.
I have therefore refuted those charges with my insurance company and I am going to file a complaint with Georgia state medical board for such unethical practices. So, my advice to you - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRACTICE.
