I've been a customer for a couple years using wyoming valley subaru for oil changes and inspections. This year I was informed by Austin Cowperthwait in service that the master tech felt a small eyebrow tint on the front windshield was not something he felt passed inspection.
The tint was in place for 5 years and passed inspection at this facility for two years and three years at a similar subaru dealership in another area. This decision while I felt was in poor taste could have easily been different and without warning while in for each visit for the past two years.
I had an oil change and a new battery on my service order as well and once I asked to come pick up my car, nobody even apologized for the tech's decision, the inconvenience it caused me or asked me if I still wanted the other service performed. Seems like they didn't need my business, so they will not receive any of it from now on.

Preferred solution: While my decision stands to boycot this facility I would like the service master tech to be educated on what's right for the customer and his business

Bad services
Poor service said Subaru recommended service when Subaru does not recommend. Then lied about it.Just to spend money for unneeded service.
