Arrrrrrgh!

They never contacted me...and instead of an A-line bob...I came out with a whale tale and a V line---are they dyslexic? The front was shorter than the back...how does this even happen when all you have to do is follow the jaw line to get an A-line. I then went to Smart Style walmart in Los Lunas NM and a young girl there fixed it and she did a wonderful job considering we had to go shorter and cut the sides straight just to fix my hair. Once it grows out I will go back to the young lady who fixed my hair - she is awesome!!!!

Rude Stylist/Manager

I've never been so disrespected in my life. The stylist/manager, Marisa, cut my hair based off a picture I showed her but told her my hair is thin, unlike the picture, and probably wouldn't turn out like the picture but still wanted more volume in my hair, understandably. The stylist stated 'I was clearly confused and wanted to educate me' when the stylist was not listening and understanding what I was asking. She asked if I planned on styling my hair like the picture, and I've never tried to style my hair like that before, I told her 'I'm going to try to' in which she responded 'I'll take that as a no, so you're paying me to cut your hair and you're not even going to style it.' So negative! She never even tried to show me how to style it whatsoever. I was hurt by the interaction and called the next day in which she bragged about how many clients she has, how happy the clients are, and how a customer complaint does not affect her whatsoever. She then stated that she has a 3-step process that would have helped me style me hair like the picture very easily. She said she likes to educate her clients but absolutely failed to give polite good customer service and educate on styling tips. She also involved other clients into the issue and stated corporate is expecting a complaint from me but reminded me afterwards that she has many clients, how happy the clients are, and how a customer complaint does not affect her whatsoever. Never been so disrespected in my life. She failed to take responsibility and accountability for her own actions and tried to blame everything on me. So hurt! Will not be returning and I was a frequent customer!

Style America Hair Coloring Review from Corrales, New Mexico

I went to get the 7 strand of highlights and cut my hair. I kept telling the hair dresser I don't see no high lights and she says, "you'll see them when your hair drys. Well my hair is dry, no highlights. I returned today, and they wanted to charge me, and I told them why should I pay when I have already paid for what I want. They told me come back and have the hair dresser that dos my hair do, I said no, I don't want her doing my hair. She doesn't know what she is doing. She didn't even bleach my hair. I trusted her to know what she was doing. I got screwed. Thanks Style America, I know you don't much care. But you lost a customer. Got rubbed!!

Complaint - Balch Springs, Texas and supporting management

I arrived with a picture in hand, the lady said "no problem". I walked out in tears with hair on the side of my head that too short that you cannot even brush it forward to be bangs. I called Monday morning to file a complaint, waited 3 days instead of 2 for a phone call that went to voicemail. I returned the call immediately and after a week of trying to go back through the central office was eventually told that my call would NOT be returned and that it was handled at the store level. They consider it "taken care of" because they refunded the money. What woman would be OK with a return check and months of waiting to have her hair fixed?? !!!????
