Resolved: It's a breadcrumbing and ghosting delay service
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. I was able to log in to Student Beans to obtain the discount.
Update -after several complaints (including this review) I was able to finally log into Student Beans, and obtain the student discount I was seeking. I was frustrating and I lost 2 weeks of the limited time window I had, but the discount was significant enough to advocate for.
The discount, was worth it - I wouldn't have been able to afford the site without the discount.
Student Beans seems to be more of a deterrent service than a student verification service; they ask for information, decline the validity of the information, ask for more information, decline the validity, and continuing doing so until the customer gives up or they decide to just stop responding. They will waste weeks of your time. They don't seem to understand how university years work, how summer works, or that students may have summer deadlines to adhere to. They gaslight those who don't have the means to just forget the hopes of obtaining an affordable way to get work done.
I'm unsure of who to be angry with, the gaslighting methods of student beans, or the companies that solely rely on them for student identification verification.
I was attempting to utilize a 50% discount for a subscription that I'm eligible for. Unfortunately the vendor doesn't use UNiDAYS, ID.me, or SheerID - just student beans. Student beans automatic verification is a sham - it just stalls in pending status for days with no notification for why (and loops with requesting verification, erroring, then requesting verification again).The support rep first asks for verification through the school email account. Then says it's not enough - to provide a screenshot of the portal.
Then says that's not enough, and essentially rejects everything provided. When challenged, or after 2 weeks, they stop responding.
- So far - they just waste weeks of precious time
- Dont do what they say they just mislead then stop responding
Preferred solution: Do a better job. Understand how universities work - especially during the summer. Stop gaslighting.

I submitted the information required to verify my student ID twice (the same info used for id.me that was verified with no issue). The phone number just says cannot be completed as dialed as an automated voice. Incredibly frustrating to get in contact with student beans, as a poor college student trying to find any discounts possible on a computer needed for online school.

- - Tried multiple codes over days; colleagues can't redeem them.
I am trying to purchase shark attatchments for FlexStyle, but the code I generate here (I have generated different codes over the last days) seems not recognisable. I have asked my University collegues to try her one and it is again the same.
Why? This has happened many times for different promo codes in different websites and stores and that is too much now.
You claim to give us promo codes as we are student. But they actually dont work!
