Structured Settlement Quotes SSQ Misrepresents BBB rating
These SSQ dudes have no rating but they post that they have an A+ rating. How can a company like SSQ get away with that? Ordinary people who have structured settlements rely on what SSQ is representing and this is just wrong on so many levels. why should I trust SSQ?
According to something I read by Einstein structured settlements this is an old website for the Genex people, but then again not sure I can trust Einstein either. They seem to be a bit reckless.
Can anyone confirm who is in charge of SSQ? I'd like to file a complaint
Structured Settlement-Quotes.Com Infected With Malware-CRITICAL
The Structured Settlement Quotes (SSQ) website at structuredsettlement-quotes.com website is infected with malware according to a Sucuri Site check scan run on November 28, 2014. Sucuri states that malicious code has been detected on the website with a warning message that this is a critical problem.
Structured Settlement Quotes, which is currently a defendant in a law suit in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut along with Genex Capital and Genex Strategies Inc.. According to the complaint filed in that action, "ssq is nothing more than a fraudulent and deceptive scheme designed to mislead consumers and benefit certain companies and persons, and in particular genex..."

My name is Boris Drubetsky and I am the C.O.O. for Genex Capital Group.
Sadly, the above comment is written by a competitor with great disregard for the truth. In an effort to steer our clients away and hurt our reputation they have posted complaints and comments on various websites. There is nothing that a reputable company can do to stop their competitors from misusing and making false claims and allegations on sites like Pissed Consumer, what we can do, however, is reply to these allegations.
I would like to take this opportunity to ensure you that we take your security while using our websites very seriously.
We have many tools and security measures in place that allow you to research information regarding your structured settlement, insurance company, state statutes, and more safely.

Boris would you be interested in a class action Law Suit against the *** John Darer who has posted this defamation about your company with his sole intent to try and hurt your business and steal business from you? Multiple people in the industry have been talking about taking this scammer John Darer down and attorneys in the industry have been speaking with companies about putting this guy on the stand where he belongs.
Looks like Mr Drubetsky has answered the questions raised in the valid complaint by the anonymous poster. It's clear that at the time of the complaint there was a problem and that Was subsequently fixed. That is what a business should do, eh?
Looks like the malware issue has now been resolved on both websites
Al, take a look at this http://sur.ly/o/genexcapital.com/ . As of 10 January 2015, the Sur.ly website says the MYWOT say the Genex Capital website is very poor on Trust, very poor on privacy and very poor on child safety.
In addition sur.ly says that the Genex Capital "website may contain some kind of malware". The check is from 5 months ago.
Seems to add credence to the above post. Regards to Peg.
I'm worried about a company that doesn't fix their "spit"
I checked today and the malware warning is still critical. I guess these guys don't care about their website.
There are people in this world who seem to apply the word scam to anything, typical of someone who shoots first without much thought. Ho Ho Hos.
This was a post by John Darer. He is a well known scammer and if you look at John Darer Lawsuit's against him he has taken advantage of unknowing annuitant.
His scam is that he claims to be an industry "watchdog". The truth is NOBODY & I MEAN NOBODY. Has nominated him that. He gave himself the title and uses that against his clients in high pressure sales and scare tactics.
He then purports lies and either infects sites owned by Genex Capital or finds sites infected and posts lies about clients. There are some pretty *** people in the world and John Darer is certainly one of them.
I think you're, pardon the pun, "barking" up the wrong tree. You might want to check out the Einstein lead generation guys.
Theyve already shown their hand with fake malware observations and they troll on here and rip off report.
As far as I can see, the Genexcapital.com website is still infected with malicious code according to Sucuri scan.
See for yourself at sitecheck.sucuri.net.
Latke, here's some more Apple sauce for your comment. The structured settlement watchdog does an amazing job of researching and uncovering bs perpetuated by the likes of Einstein and others.
Einstein is not a client of his. Nor is anyone else he writes about. Anyone with half a brain can figure that out. The above comment is just silly billy, a chortle from the peanut gallery of structured settlement sellers.
As the structured settlement watchdog has observed Einstein Structured settlements has serious irrecoverable credibility issues. Do you think people, or a company that pays people to say they've done business with them and then uses that to hook new customers is credible?
I think not! What sayeth you?
Einstein Structured Settlements Thank You
I said it before and I will say it once more thank you to the structured settlement quote guys and their idol Einstein Structured Settlements for helping me when I needed it most. There are a ton of issues wrangling with so many purchases and everybody has dirty laundry so it really does not matter who you work with as long as you are happy. Definitely happy with my experience with Einstein Structured Settlement and the rest of the assistance that I had from the Einstein Structured Settlements experts.
So remember it's Your money and Einstein Wanted you to have it now.
thanks einstein structured settlements.
Where have you said it before? By your comments you falsely hold yourself as some type of authority.
Who the heck are you. Being anonymous in promoting a non credible website has no credibility with me.
Who wants do business with a bunch of liars. Einstein are the absolute worst in my opinion. Immature leadership.
Einstein is Not registered to do business in CT, with the Secretary of State, during times it claims to be a leading buyer, so how would you know Karen, unless...you're
Idol? More like Idle Chatter!
Einstein structured settlements is definitely the leader in the secondary market right? It's between them and this company jg wentworth or jd wentworht. Am always hearing these guys on the radio or sumthin
So did Roger and Boris sell out a website they paid Beaucoup bucks for?
Einstein structured settlements a leader? "Leader hosen" maybe.
'Leader" hosen people in this post because JG Wentworth is the undisputed heavyweight champion, holder of the 'intercontinental smelt".
I think they may have Sean, because these chumps from Einstein keep posting here. Very funny zinga inga!
No they didn't sell, they finally were forced to disclose that Genex Capital is behind SSQ thanks to great lawyering by Woodbridge Lawyers i
Einstein structured settlements was busted by the self proclaimed structured settlement watchdog for using " Chip" from BuyTestimonials .com and trying to get people to beleive it was a real customer as well as Pink Koala from Fiverr. I couldn't stop laughing when I read it until I realized how these guys tried to dupe consumers with the fake reviews. So frickin' sleazy!
Little man offers more than Big Business
Called a couple of these companies I saw on T.V and online and asked what they could offer me. I then got a call from a guy name Jason who said he worked with private investors.
At the end of the day he got me 10 grand more than the highest offer I was given by the bigger businesses. These business said that it was impossible for Jason to offer me that much, but he did and came through with the money. 281-716-****, thats Jason's direct phone number.
He was pretty cool and got me paid quick and even advanced me a few thousand. Highly recommended!!
This is from John Darer and it is illegal and a FTC violation for Novation Capital to post fake reviews and blatant lies like this.
If thie post was really by JD he would have posted it on his blog. But I did a little checking and he did out Einstein/JRR Funding for the paid reviews they posted from 2012.
I saw that too Thumper! Goofballs!
I called Jason because of this review!! I don't know if this matters in the industry that he's in but his customer service was great.
He made me feel comfortable and he took a lot of time to explain things I didn't understand...which was rough because I didn't understand a lot of things LOL. I called some other places but they didn't seem like they cared to hear me out. They just wanted me to sign their papers ASAP. I didn't feel comfortable with that.
Jason on the other hand did not rush me and made sure I understood everything I was getting. Great guy, great service and I strongly recommend him!
Structured Settlements Quotes
I have used Structured Settlement Quotes a couple of times now and am glad to share with you that I am a happy return customer. I know what it is like to be in a financial hardship and they know how to help, fast!
Both times I needed an advance on my structured settlement they were able to make sure everything went smoothly.
I tried another company first and was completely dissatisfied, needless to say; I won't make that mistake again.
Don't waste your time with those other companies that promise you the world.
When you're dealing with a team of individuals who care about your needs and will do everything that they can to make sure that they are met, there is no need to go to anyone else.
I wouldn't do business with Structured Settlement Quotes for any reason.
Hopefully you don't have to sell more than once. It's an expensive cost of money, even with SSQ!
Structured Settlement Quotes is misclassified as False Breeder in this complaint.
SSQ took me out of a mess.
We recently had to make the decision to get my father into an assisted living home which was a tough decision in itself.
To make matters worse we were running into a brick wall with multiple companies when it came to selling his annuity. He told us that it was impossible and I understand why he felt that way. He had been in contact with four companies that said that he wasn't qualified and they wouldn't be able to handle his annuity funding.
Apparently, his particular situation was,”beyond complicated”. Needless to say, I was beyond frustrated. The reason we went to these companies in the first place was because they were supposed to be the experts. It wasn't until I got in contact with an attorney, about another matter, that I was able to find a solution. He told me about StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com and within weeks they had come up with a solution to what seemed to be an impossible problems.
Bravo guys, in an industry that seems to be filled with incompetence, you were able to provide quality customer service, put up with a very frustrated individual and get the job done. If it weren't for this company we may have never been able to get the funding. Since the transaction has been completed we were able to handle some of my fathers medical costs and get some estate planning done or him as well. I'm beyond relieved to be done with the whole process and to my surprise, there was a happy ending.
I came here to learn more about SSQ before calling. What a bunch of bs on the wall, I can't even follow who's lying more.
Funny how this same wording is on another consumer complaint board. Did Einstein structured settlements just replicate this on multiple complaint sites? Einstein takes you for a fool bro.
Forget Einstein and their silly nonsense, 123 Lump Sum is where to go. Call **CASH
Yeah **cash, you get a free 2$ bill which is so cool.
I am glad that you hired Einstein Structured Settlements to help you out of this mess. They are known as the number one company to help people who are in a tough financial situation.
I have luckily read a ton of great reviews and spoke with their knowledgeable staff.
There were a few blogs that write about structured settlement companies and that is how I found out about Einstein Structured Settlements and am so glad that they were able to help me out of the jam that I was in.
Thank you Einstein Structured Settlements

Einstein structured settlements trolling complaint sites again roflmao. On the orders of a Genex Capital competitor?
I agree with Nick. Einstein ain't no geniuses.
They're trolls, and Halloween is approaching.
They throw as much ship against the wall and see what stinks. Why are they picking on the Canadians?
Reputation management?
The real story..

Peter and Mercy, simply Google Woodbridge Structured Funding v Structured Settlement Quotes. Co-Defendants are Genex Capital and Genex Strategies Inc.
The case was filed in the United States District Court in Connecticut.
If you have a subscription to PACER.gov you can access all the legal documents and read to your hearts content.
Why would a person sell their annuity at a discount to pay for assisted living when full value is better?
A great company to TRUST!
I'd like to shout out to Joseph at Structured Settlement Quotes. I won the lotto a few years back and made the decision to sell my payments.
Initially I got in contact with a competing company and they wanted to take over half of what was left of my winnings to provide me with a lump sum, something about that just didn't sound right to me.
So I went online and found SSQ, I filled out a quote form and they got back in contact with me in about 2 hours. After gathering a few pieces of quick info I received a quote that far surpassed that of their competition.
They did me right and didn't try to get over on me like those other guys. I not only want to thank Joseph for being helpful and honest but Structured Settlement Quotes for being a great company to work with. Watch out for those scam artists that will try to take you for what you have with no hesitation...
Nice try - see this:

StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com RIPPED ME OFF
FYI - StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com submit here at pissedconsumer.com to make themselves look better.
But here's the story. SSQ did a bait and switch. Promised one thing, but when I signed it was a different story.
They ended up taking me for $22,500 - which I'm sure they kept for themselves.
After talking to 3 other companies I found them. In hindsight, I should have gone with one of the others.
And should have know when they're so pushy to close and promised things that sounded too good to be true. Special acknowledgement goes to Roger Proctor and Boris Drubetsky.
These guys operate under:
StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com
Quotemeaprice.com
Genexcapital.com
Assuredannuity.com
At first, their business appears in Dover, Delaware.
It took some digging, but I eventually found their info.
The actual address of these guys is:
Suite 3502 - **** West Cordova
Vancouver, BC
BEWARE OF THESE GUYS!
How could they take you for 22500 when this supposed transaction was supposed to reviewed by a judge under the terms of your stat
The funny thing about this so called complaint is that it says structuredsettlement-quotes.com ripped them off. Structuredsettlement-quotes.com is a website address not a company.
People make complaints without knowing what they are talking about. It's a slice of life that in this market niche is better than the National Enquirer
Shannon you sound just like a competitor of Genex Capital that trolls rip off report and pissed consumer. So these guys are from Canada.
Nobody cares.
Proc and Croc are into pot now. Out of the tall grass and into ***.
You mean Abaca Rx? There's Roger and Boris.
http://abacarx.com/#section-about
SSQ are like the genital warts of the structured settlement world, and they keep making new sites to hide coz they're a bunch of *** that rip people off.
Source? I know of 2 people directly screwed over by them and there's no shortage of stories.
One of their new 'brands' is assuredannuity.com, although they likely have 5 more that aren't known.
Only a matter of time before Roger and the boys are shut down.
I'm not a big fan of Roger Proctor and Boris Drubetsky either but "genital warts"? What are you 17?
What the *** is the matter with Pissed Consumer that they allow people to publish this ***?
How about some real news like why SSQ and Genex Capital are being sued by Woodbridge in Connecticut Federal Court? Some real juicy claims.
FYI - they also have other sites like assuredannuity dot com.
What's an *** A diaper?
I with you *** Doody, what is an *** Carl? Carl puffed his chest all out on here and then never defines the term.
Is he referring to the sexual orientation of one of the Genex officers? If so, for shame. This is meant to be a consumer website. Doesn't matter if you're straight, *** or yellow if it can be proven screw people over and over again you need to be called on it.
So far alot of hot air. Where's the proof Carlie?
You sound more like Carl Spackler, the "erudite" greens keeper from the movie " Caddyshack". Eh gopher?
If these people are being screwed over and over by them then have them contact the attorney general in their state.
Why *** about it on Pissed Consumer?
Structured Settlement Quotes is the WORST
Without getting into it much - they quoted one amount and tried to get me to sign off to a different amount than agreed.
DO NOT TALK TO THESE CROOKS.
I backed out at last second and found someone else to buy my settlement.
DO NOT TALK TO THESE CROOKS.
Structured Settlement Quotes should not be in business. There is no regulation for selling a settlement and they abuse it.
Anyone is going to be better than this company.
DO NOT TALK TO THESE CROOKS.
Structured Settlement Quotes scam should be reported, but to who? BBB?
Structured Settlement Quotes suck in a big way. Beware.
DO NOT TALK TO THESE CROOKS.
Genex Capital owns SSQ and these guys are not CROOKS. Stifle yourself.
I wish I could get to know why you are just hating, without stating what actually makes you so negative. Otherwise I just take it that you a rogue competitor to SSQ. according to me, they offered good amount of money to my dad for structured settlements.
I agree Vivian, perhaps its a resentful former employee or consultant who worked on SSQ for the people in Vancouver that owned it. There appears to be a pattern of similarly penned diatribes all over the Internet where certain key words are repeated over and over again...words like scam, suck or sucks, crook.
At this point nobody associated with SSQ has been arrested in connection with SSQ. The style appears to be that of an SEO type or someone with knowledge of it.
The complainer states no financial loss only that SSQ gave one price and then comes back and tried to get him to sign off on a different amount than agreed.
Isn't that what some accuse JG Wentworth of doing?
Structured Settlement Quotes were jerks to me too! I'd b*tchslap them if i saw em
Makes a lot of sense Latesha. How about a real complaint?
It's Vancouver not the 'hood! It's "handbags" in Vancouver!
The lawsuit alleges that SSQ is a fraudulent and deceptive scheme
It's easy to call people crooks, but if you have really hard evidence that those behind SSQ are crooks (instead of baseless spouting off) then go to the FBI, or the Canadian Mounties, your state attorney general or the Federal trade commission. Be a Dudley Do-right! However it sounds to me that at least you had the sense to shop around and get a better deal than you were shown from SSQ.
Well said Kemal! and checked out what Kevin said.
Its all online about the SSQ lawsuit.
That doesn't make them crooks as it's a civil matter.
Calling someone a crook is not a matter of opinion. You can't think someone is a crook, they either are or are not breaking the law.
And if you are not sure that SSQ, or the people that run it, are breaking the law then don't call them a crook on Pissed Consumer, which is like an indelible ink pen. If you don't know the law, keep your trap shut.
StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com Scam
These MONSTERS take advantage of people in difficult times.
We needed to sell our settlement coz we were far behind on bills, and they did everything in their power to get us to sign.
Sadly we did, because of the great promises.
But it turned out to be a bait and switch.
BEWARE - do not deal with this company.
They also go by Assured Annuity and Genex Capital.
Probably many more.
If we had checked more, we would have learned they give the worst quotes.
They promise you one thing, but check that paperwork!
Avoid at all costs.
K.
There are only 3 back links to the Assured Annuity website, one of them is the Banana Blog. Come on isn't that a little too obvious.
More like "backside" links Gaylord; good catch!
Anyone heard from Brad Jones? Very odd. The guy appears to have been on mute since November 2013.
So let's this straight, you are claiming $43,000 in losses because you allege that Structured Settlement Quotes did a bait and switch? Can you elaborate more?
Did you sign a contract? And if you knew they went under these other names why did you do business with them in the first place? What drew you in? And when you discovered you were allegedly baited and switched, you ran right to Pissed Consumer and filed an anonymous complaint.
Did you file a legal complaint?
Did you file a complaint with the attorney general's office in your state? Did you file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau where you would have had to sign in and prove you're a real person and not just a competitor of Roger Proctor and Boris Drubetsky?
The industry is filled with trolls.
Sounds like a bad case of seller's remorse to me.
Checking the paperwork is gold
FYI Edison Funding =Einstein Structured Settlements= Fairfield Funding
That's list gives me the Cannonball Runs!
Sorry to hear that. This happens quite often with a company that you deal with in a scenario where you are unfamilar with the risks and benefits of doing a transaction.
I do not see the terms of the deal so I can't say how much more we would have been able to offer you but we would be glad to discuss it if you'd like to have us examine your deal. Give us a call at 708-813-****
Edison Funding sucks you in by claiming that it is part of the Better Business Bureau, but what I read on here is consistent with my experience. No click through and unable to verify Edison's membership. When I see that I just avoid.
StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com Privacy Issue
At one point I trusted this company and referred them quite alot of business. but not since learning that information that concerned me after referring business ended up on a sucks website and a blog post on the SSQ Structured Settlement Quotes Inc. website. An absolutely HORRIBLE experience.
I let them keep all the profits from my referrals for over 4 years. Then one day after 4 years a representative said that the company would make a one time small charitable donation in my name to a charity of my choosing. I said to a charity that provides emotional support to air crash survivors and their families. There was apparently a change in management or a business sale in or about July 2011. In August 2011 I was brutally attacked on the sucks site over this.
According to the person I referred the case to there were only two people who knew about the charitable contribution, that individual and the person who he said wrote the check who is an executive for a Canadian company that buys structured settlement payments but solicits business in the United States. When I confronted that individual about it he denied any connection to StructuredSettlement-Quotes.com
I am still trying to determine the legal address of this company. Even though the company claims an address in Hartford CT and the company claims to be doing business in Connecticut since 2009, there is no record of filing with the Connecticut Secretary of State.
http://www.concord-sots.ct.gov/CONCORD/onl
Structured Settlement Quotes is a defendant in a lawsuit over unfair trade practices filed in CT. Also named in the suit is Genex Capital and Genex Strategies Inc. , according to published information.
The lawsuit against defendants Genex Capital and Genex Strategies is still pending, Woodbridge's latest brief is an interesting read. check it out on pacer.gov
The Lawsuit is over. After hiding its involvement publicly for years in Structured Settlement Quotes, Genex Capital now discloses its ownership in the questioned site as well as Quote Me a Price, presumably due to the settlement with Woodbridge Structured Funding.
The reasons for Genex Capital's hiding this information may never be fully known, but it definitely scars my thinking about the trustworthiness of this company. Had they not been sued would they have disclosed?
I think there is a lawsuit against Structured Settlement Quotes and Genex Strategies over their business practices.
Structured Settlement Quotes is owned by Roger Proctor of Genex Capital in Vancouver.
Sorry but this just absolutely had to be said from a pissed consumer.
Structured Settlement Quotes Hartford CT
absolutely horrible experience with this company. after referring business to them in I was surprised to see information about the transaction another website.
the same website included information about another person's structured settlement transfer. that customer was livid. I've complained to the Better Business Bureau that this company does not seem to be registered to do business in my state but they did nothing. that left e no choice but to use this avenue to complain.
years ago I referred business to a company callled Settlement Quotes which used the same website www.structuredsettlement-quotes.com. it seems as if there was a change in management.
maybe that's the problem. I don't know.
Don't worry bucko! It took a while but the BBB of CT has taken notice and the company has no BBB rating at this time. Now a little more tzatziki for my lamb
structured settlement quotes is being sued by woodbridge structured funding along with genex capita. the complaint in this recent lawsuit alleges that this company "ssq is nothing more than a fraudulent and deceptive scheme designed to mislead consumers and benefit certain companies and persons, and in particular genex..."
Did it all came apart at nacho grande?
At least they aren't as bad as John Darer right? That guy is the most complained about guy in the business.
The only people complaining are the people under whose skin JD has managed to get with his incisive blogging.lol Vive el Perro!

Thank you for your comment. To set the record correct, Genex Capital has owned SSQ for 5 years.
SSQ acts independently of Genex Capital and obtains price quotes from a number of different companies to make sure annuitants get the best price for their payments.
Genex Capital sued Woodbridge and won a substantial out of court settlement as a result. Genex Capital has been in business for over 12 years and has an A+ rating with the BBB.
Having trouble finding evidence to abck up what you say.
I saw here that Genex Capital tried to intervene v Woodbridge in an Arizona Lottery case and lost on Appeal http://caselaw.findlaw.com/az-court-of-appeals/166****.html
but I think what the author of the Pissed Consumer complaint was referring to was the Federal lawsuit in Connecticut against as it says " Genex Capital, Genex Strategies and Structured and Structured Settlement Quotes. there is no record of any counter-suit by Genex Capital.
http://law.justia.com/cases/federal/district-courts/connecticut/ctdce/3:2014cv00214/103510/59/
Perhaps you could post a link showing what you are talking about. Thx
It would be nice if Roger answered your question Bogie
Wonder why Roger Proctor the CEO of Genex Capital won't answer Bogie's question. Why SSQ is listed as a sole proprietorship on the Better Business Bureau record when the website itself says SSQ is part of the Genex Capital group. Genex Capital Corporation and Genex Strategies are both corps.
Genex Capital is behind SSQ now according to its website. For some reason they went covert three years ago and because of some great lawyering by Woodbridge they had to come out. SSq still has no Bbb rating.

SSQ is still misleading consumers by posting an A+ rating with the BBB when it has no rating. What's their problem?
SSQ is A+ rated with the BBB under the Genex Capital Brand. We are proud of our rating and strive to offer the best price to annuitants for their structured settlement payments.
I see what you mean Mildred. it says right here that there is no BBB rating.
http://www.bbb.org/connecticut/Business-Reviews/financial-consultants-no-license-required/structured-settlement-quotes-in-hartford-ct-8706****/Customer-Reviews
If they act independently why don't they have their own rating like they did before.
I'd also like to know why Genex hid their ownership of SSQ for so long.
Maybe RWP (Roger Proctor) can tell us why it took so long for Genex to come out of the closet on SSQ. 4 months and he still hasn't responded to Ms Sprout's spout.
