I have spent over $1500 on ads for this company and have not received one phone call. Total waste of money. I regret doing this.

We started with full page ads for three months, the sales pitch really sounded great. In reality, there have been zero calls, no leads.
Wrote in to move to smallest size due to life changes. A billing cycle goes by and we are charged again at full price.
Initially we had to generate our own ad as what we were given as an professional ad in the first place was unbelievably comical for the amount of money we paid for these services.
If you like to pay for a service that offers the bare minimum in return, sign right up. We are regretting this decision deeply.

I want to cancel my contract with Be-Local as I get no calls from this. So it seems to be a waste on money.
I have reached out several times, and after speaking back and forth through email with someone, she finally just referred me to ANOTHER e-mail that I needed to send an e-mail to requesting cancellation. I have not received a response back yet from anyone.

This company locks you into long-term contracts cause a no that they're magazine doesn't work? They imply it works fantastic that you'll get great networking.
And it doesn't work like that. You don't get anything back. I've talked to many of many of my networking friends in the same magazine. We don't get any calls back.
The only people that make money from this company are the sales ladies in the cells.
When who sell the ads, do not use this company. Please don't use this company Do not use this company

DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They prey on small business owners!
Our rep lied and mislead my business into signing a contract. Where he left out some key details about the contract and the minimum length of contract they offer. Was told the minimum length contract was 36 months and could cancel after 12 months if I was not happy. Never a mention about if you do cancel the early termination fee you would have to pay.
After reading all the complaints that's how I found out the minimum contract is 12 months offered not 36 months like I was told. Was tricked into a 36 months contract so rep could make more commission then a 12 month contract would pay out. Would of had no issues if the rep was honest and said they offer a 12 month contract. Now since I cancelled contract on my own they turned over to a collection agency who then tries to extort my business!
I have talked with an attorney to see what my rights are and what needs to be done going forward. I'm not going to sit back and have this company try to take advantage of my business a second time.
So fair warning to any small business owners thinking about advertising with them. Walk away!

THEY LIED AND LURED ME INTO SIGNING A PAYMENT AUTHERIZATION FORM WITH A SMALL TINY CLICKABLE BLUE LINE "TEMRS AND CONDITIONS" THAT I DID NOT SEE. TOLD ME THAT I SIGNED FOR 12 MONTHS AND WOULD BE ABLE TO CANCELED AT ANYTIME BUT WHEN I TRIED TO CANCEL, THEY SAID THE CONTRACT OF 36 MONTHS IS NOT CANCELABLE.
NOW THEY WANT TO SUE ME FOR $63K. STAY AWAY PLEASE.

Shady thieves

- - Aug invoice billed July, Aug and Sept ads; July/Aug ads never ran; Dec charge unauthorized.
I havent worked with them since April. I told them it was unaffordable and was not giving the results they claimed it would.
I got not one single client from their ad. None. The last payment I gave them, in April 2022, covered June of 2022s ad. I did not pay in May, my sd was not ran in July, or the months thereafter.
However, they tried to invoice me in August for $750 for July, August and September ads which July and August ads never printed. I have emails of them acknowledging that they did not print my ad those months. Here we are, end of October and these people ran my card, unauthorized, for December. I guess they dont know how contracts work, they didnt render services, they arent entitled to payment.
It has been 6 whole months since theyve had any authorization to run my card. This company is beyond shady!
