Stripe is a terrible platform, and IT has no clue what they are doing. I accidentally made a typo on my email address, which created an account I couldn't access.
Stripe integrates with Pocket Vendor. Basically, Stripe canceled my account with a typo in it while a payment was captured from PV and in the Stripe account. I'd taken a payment not knowing I was locked out, and Stripe held the $300 in the account with the typo and then deleted it along with losing the payment. They threw PV under the bus, sending me multiple messages so sweetly not identifying my issue and blaming it on PV.
Halfway through they asked why I was contacting them after a month of back and forth. I sent screenshots with proof they had the money in a Stripe account that then disappeared, and then they blocked me and won't respond to any requests for help or a refund. This is ridiculous. $300 may not be much to them, but it is to a small business, and the fact they crucified their partner instead of taking responsibility is shameful corporate behavior.
They lost a customer's money, blamed a partner that helps them make money, and then gaslit me and blocked me. Well done, Stripe.
Classy move an very much a company that seems like it is run by functional adults who understand the concept of personal responsibility, integrity, and customer service. I am disgusted with this company and will not use them again.

This is actually ridiculous that Im still getting charged for a subscription and I dont use this subscription anymore and this is *** fraud and illegal for someone to be allowed to manually charge my card without proper *** authorization! [FBG Marley] has been stealing and no one wants to help me not continue to be charged!
I was charged 2 times back to back for a subscription that was supposedly cancelled on LaunchPass but was still authorized on Stripe but nothing can be done

I have been trying to contact stripe for months now. When i leave a support message, they close the case within 5 minutes without a response.
In other words, they dont want to deal with me and they ignore me. A customer of mine payed me a deposit for a project and stripe refused to let the payment go for two months. Stripe had said that they will refund the money in April since I couldnt get the payout. On July 31st, my customer still didnt receive his refund and I advised him to dispute it.
This was my first ever transaction with them and when my customer did his dispute, stripe debited $100 out of my account. I have been trying to get ahold of them so that they can explain but all of my messages get ignored. We are now at the end of September 2024 and theyve yet to respond or even give me an explanation as to where the mysterious $100 charge came from. This is unprofessional and very shady for a company to be taking advantage of its customers.
I only made the one and only transaction and some how I owed stripe money after that.
I dont recommend stripe because their integrity as a company is as low as a street criminal. Absolutely unacceptable.

CLOSED MY ACCOUNT DAY OF $5000 pPAYOUT
Stripe closed my account the day of a $5,000 pay out. Due to dispute risk mind you they could have taken the money out if need be.
The dispute is literally being handled by an attorney. They will not answer will not give me the money. Said today it was sent then cancelled THE DAY OF THE PAYOUT TO MY BANK. Coincidence?
I think NOT! Ive only used them twice now and the first time wasnt great but I tried again since it was a credit card payment from my customers.

I am an American Indian Moor of the first nations, a retired and unemployed widow who is disabled. I have an American Indian Moors Nationality Identification Card which Stripe already possesses. This has been used on my account, and Stripe has been using it perfectly fine for the last two to three years. Suddenly, in June 2024, Stripe began sending me artificial intelligence emails threatening duress and coercion, demanding that I send them documents such as my driver's license, bank statements, and addressed documents which I neither have nor use.
I possess a long list of items, none of which I have or utilize, being indigenous. Consequently, I demand a human being to call or email me and fix the Stripe system now, removing me from admiral maritime jurisdiction as I use common law, common sense, god's law, I.P.s.o jure. Please send me all payouts now with API keys, a new payout agent such as Paypal, or any other agent for BoonTV now so I can move on from this financial hardship due to discrimination, deprivation of rights using the color of law, conspiracy against rights, and an unlawful search and seizure as per the fourth amendment in the constitution. Stripe's heads have taken an oath to uphold the constitution and the 1787 Treaty of Peace and Friendship.
They must use the United Nations rights for indigenous people and uphold all other laws to avoid their oath of office violation. In violation, a two hundred and fifty thousand dollar fine stands, as well as penalties for monopoly, violating the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, and the Hobbs Act for racketeering, peonage, identity theft, sex trade, slave trade, and human trafficking as well as war crimes against humanity. I request someone to remedy this situation now and send me all funds owed to me. Also, place two thousand members onto BoonTV now to compensate for all harm and loss to our member subscriptions.

I needed to change my information because, since working with Amazon, I have changed a lot of my info. They won't let me make my changes online; they have no customer service number to call. With something as important as this, they expect you to wait until someone decides to email you back.

I did my first transaction on the app in processing it I accidentally refunded it I tried to stop the refund immediately and reverse it to no avail I have made multiple attempts to contact customer supports via the phone and the AI and still no result now they're telling me they're going to hold my funds for 120 days instead of processing the payment on through as a small business owner working on very small dividends this is totally unacceptabled

Your live chat feature does not exist, nor is there any way to actually call for live support either. It's ridiculous that even though I'm eligible for instant pay, it will not pay me immediately. A person has to wait at least 10 days to get paid, sometimes much longer.

Worst Custoner service. NO PHONE HELP. NO LIVE CHAT!
The closed my account without giving any tangible reason. When I asked they said they could not disclose the reason.
When i asked for a phone number to call they said they did not have one and had to email.
When i emailed i got automated email replies over and over again same same thing every time.
Just needed them to refund my clients since they decide to close account without any notice.
Been over two weeks and my clients have not received refunds and I cannot pay out either.
What's up with this company.
You'd think they would be better at handling customers for such a big company but they are unreachable and non responsive.
Keep away if you are running a small business. They will screw you over!!

I would like to contact you regarding the recent suspension of my Stripe account. It seems that this action was automatically triggered by your system when I attempted to transfer funds to my bank account.
I believe this to be a mistake, as my account has not recorded any significant disputes, and I have always complied with the platform's terms and conditions.
I would like to point out that this decision seems to have been taken arbitrarily by the algorithm, without any real manual review having been carried out. Given that my business relies on payments processed by Stripe, this sudden suspension is particularly compromising for my business.

I can not get my money
I have money that should have been put on a debit card that I lost I tried changing the payment to my bank account , they would not allow me unless I put the # for the lost debit card. I tried calling my bank they did not help ...now the money has been in transit for more than for one year there is no customer service # all their online help is useless

This is the company that some of the apps on my phone use for payout. I changed my phone number and now I cant get access to my stripe account.
They sent me an email over a month ago said they were gonna try to verify my identity another way, but then its been over a month and I still havent heard anything else. In the meantime, my money is unavailable because stripe will not allow me to access my account.
