I have never taken the time to write a poor review for any company, automotive or otherwise,
But the egregiously unprofessional and rude behavior we received from Strictly Automotive, managers Shelby and Misty
has to be shared broadly, including the Better Business Bureau.
We brought our 2009 Nissan Rogue in for a rough running engine evaluation.
After a road-test, the listed repairs included removing/replacing subframes, ignition coils, and axel assembly totaling over
$6000. Since the Blue Book value of the car was $3500 these repairs were not worth pursuing.
There was a disagreement over a final total bill for some services performed.
The problem comes from the video Strickly Automotive sent to us which indicates the work performed resulted
leaving the car in an unsafe and undrivable condition, which was much worse than when the car arrived.
The video is here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/y3i9q8ng3800af2eu50bb/202404**_**1238.mp4?rlkey=ryebh8x6a3oe4msrwy5qv8ks1&st=m1j8b5bf&dl=0
Instead of negotiating in good faith to settle for payment, we received a notice that if we didn't pay in full the car would be considered abandoned, and we would be reported to:
State of Colorado
Repair Shop Abandoned Vehicle Titling
DR 2542 (07/25/19)
COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE
Division of Motor Vehicles
Vehicle Services Unit
We attempted to contact the owner with no luck.
Strictly Automotive Mangers, Shelby Pittman and Misty McNett were dismissive, rude and completely disregarded our continued requests to
communicate to determine a reasonable financial solution. This complete disregard for customer service is shameful.
What seemed like an ordinary service appointment resulted in a complete property loss.
Let the buyer beware that this is not a way for any customer to be treated or a business to be run.

User's recommendation: Have all work agreed to upfront.
