Overcharged $339 After 30 Days Cancellation Notice
Gave 30 days notice on 10/27/23 as I purchased eight sessions, and they told me that I was on contract. I told them this is my notice of 30 days and booked all eight session appointments.
I finished all stretch sessions on 1-December.
Stretch Lab charged another eight sessions on 11/27/23 knowing that I was finished and knowing I didn't book sessions and didn't intend to do so. I was NEVER informed so this was unauthorized. I called and the desk attendant said she was going to talk to management. I never heard back.
I finally reached the manager Celeste, and she informed me that the 30 days from 10/27 was 11/27.
I told her 30 days from 10/27 was 11/26 because October has 31 days. Celeste can't count and she is a fraud.
- Decent flexologists
- Overpriced - they get lazy working with you
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: WATCH OUT - NEVER GIVE CREDIT CARD INFORMATION

Verified Reviewer |Billing is highway robbery
This place charged me for a month's session before I decided if I wanted it or not $269. Then wanted another 100 to cancel even though I didn't use any of there sessions.
Warning. Do not give any C/C or debit card info to these people.
Paying as you go is better. Don't fall into membership trap that is NOT worth it.
- Crooks
Preferred solution: Nothing for them to delete my name

Please have the manager call me.
I was there for my appointment and was told that grip socks were mandatory and had to purchase a pair. I was never advised that grip socks were MANDATORY, and why.Don't forget your grip socks in a text doesn't explain anything to a newbie.
The cost of the socks at your location are very pricey. ($16 a pair) Amazon charges $16 for 6.

Verified Reviewer |Very Dissatisfied Customer
The stretching service is great. But their billing practices and service to dissatisfied customers is bad.
They will keep billing and billing even though you e quit. Be wary of any contract you sign with them.

Their rip off practices
I ruptured my Achilles tendon, contacted my StretchLab and explained what had happened. She claimed they were going to put my account on hold for $15 a month I agree to that at one point these rat bastards claim that I lifted my hold and they begin charging me for the month.
I was not allowing it to go through on my card.
I noticed they were continuing to charge me a $15 fee come to find out they were running my card and it was declining them and they were charging me $15. These people are too much as I stated earlier rat bastards I would not ever do business with them again and I would discourage anybody else from doing business with their shotty business practices they are claiming that I am in collections with them which is complete *** Do not sign an agreement

Verified Reviewer |Terrible Policies
I signed up for a 3-month trial at StretchLab after meeting one of their technicians at an outside event. He, by the way, is terrific.
I did tell him after the first month's charges that I would only do this for three months. He said, "I'll put a note in your file." Evidently, that's not the way StretchLab works. Today, at almost the end of my three-month trial, I was told that I didn't give 30 days notice in writing, so I would be charged for a fourth month. And I was treated like trash.
Very sad.
I will contest the charge, obviously. But what a rotten way to end what might have been a good relationship for all of us.K
- Makes body feel great
- Terrible business policies
- Practice
- Customer service
Preferred solution: Acknowledgement that I would not do more than three months and that was communicated to my fitness trainer well before the 30-day cancellation policy requirements. I have not been charged for the fourth month yet, but it will be contested.
User's recommendation: This organization will keep charging you ad infinitum. And there is no "corporate" solve. Only at the franchise location. My experience with the manager of the Highland Park, TX location was dismal.

Verified Reviewer |Cancel membership
I INADVERTANTLY signed up for a 3 month membership. Unfortunately, I have serious medical issues and have not been able to use my membership, nor will I be able to use all my sessions by the due date because I am having surgery.
I was told by my local studio that there is nothing that can be done and I must "use or lose" the sessions. I am asking that my membership be cancelled and refunded. I can provide documentation from my doctor if necessary.
I have gone on Twitter and Yelp as I have had no luck reaching anyone from Customer Service. Please consider my request and let me know what can be done.
Thank you.
User's recommendation: Don't do it
Deceptive billing practices
After purchasing what I thought was a three-month contract, I chose not to renew my membership for the following period. I missed the requisite notice period by 3 days, and was told that I was obligated to pay for the following month.
No notice was given that it was time to cancel. Very poor and deceptive!
User's recommendation: Do not sign a contract!
Deceiving membership cancellation
Services, great. Ethics, not so much.
Policies for canceling a membership are quite deceiving and met with pressure and loop hole policies to continue to take your money.
The manager thought he was doing me a favor by saying "we want to avoid having to call collections" a passive aggressive tactic. I simply feel bamboozled and taken advantage of.
- Deceiving membership cancellation policies
User's recommendation: Buyer beware

Same. Appleton, WI new location's manager, Dave is a total nightmare.
I tried to cancel, but no one at his studio besides him (apparently) can cancel the memberships. Well, on the corporate site it says I need to receive a cancellation email for it to go into effect. I never received my cancelation email, so I went back in to cancel, and I had to tell them I would bring a lawyers letter if necessary so that I could officially cancel before my 30 days was up . Well, surprise surprise, Dave suddenly was available to cancel my membership, AND call me to bully and berate me over the phone about how it wasnt necessary (maybe it wasn't, but it is my right).
I wish they had a corporate to contact so they know what a pile Dave is. He literally made it seem like they saved my life and that he would have eventually canceled it It seems all their locations are like this, and run on a shady business model.
