For schools to stop hiring them!

If I could go 0 stars I would!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my daughters recent school pictures taken by your company. The photo provided looks like it was taken off-guard, with her mouth open and no smile.

When I logged in to view the pictures, I found only two options: a zoomed-in and a zoomed-out version of the same photo, leaving no opportunity to choose from multiple shots.

I asked my daughter about the picture taking process, and she said the photographer instructed her to make a silly face rather than smile, then quickly moved on to the next student. It seems the photographer didnt care about the quality of the photo, likely because they are paid by the school regardless of the outcome. As a result, I will not purchase any pictures from your company. I plan to make a complaint with my daughters school and suggest they use Lifetouch instead.

Additionally, I was unaware of the retake date, which was scheduled the day after picture day, not allowing sufficient time to review the initial photos and decide if retakes were necessary.

When I contacted customer service, I was advised to contact the school regarding retake dates, which seems inefficient as your company should have this information readily available.

I asked if retakes could be arranged through your company directly if the school cannot schedule another session. The agent informed me that retakes could only be scheduled through the school, which is very frustrating given the quality of the initial photo. The agent mentioned that photographers prompt children to smile, but if they choose not to, the photographers cannot intervene due to a no-contact policy. Taking pictures of children requires a higher standard of care, and it's disappointing that your company's policy falls short in this regard.

However, my child does not have an issue with smiling, making the quality of the photo particularly disappointing.

Last year, the photos taken were excellent, but this year's experience has been quite the opposite. I regret to say that, based on this experience, I would not recommend your services.

I hope you will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your service quality.

This company should give the option to allow the parents to view pictures of their student's photos before paying for anything, the children's heads could be tilted to the side and mid blink looking terrible. This is one thing about Lifetouch that I can say is good, THEY ALLOW YOU TO SEE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE! Make this an option to see the picture before you get your payments!

ITS BEEN 3 MONTHS! I HAVE BEEN WIATING ON MELISSA CARYL TO DO HER JOB!!

Melissa Caryl came to my son's school to do retakes. I clearly wrote I wanted retakes!

She didn't read the paper the first time. She said she didn't understand it? Had to come back to take just my son's pictures on 11/13/23 Now She is not sending me pictures or responding to emails or phone calls! She is the ACCOUNT MANAGER???

She never sent the pictures AFTER 3 MONTHS??? I talked to CONNER in 5 minutes he did his job and her job! He is the only one that seems to know anything at this company!

My son's eyes were closed

My son looked so cute on picture day but their photographer only took one image and it was of him with his eyes closed... even a photographer who is terrible at their job or hates their job- you would think would have the courtesy to take at least one image with his eyes open or give him a chance to take 1 more.

Unbelievable.

Why does Strawbridge seem to have a monopoly on schools' picture days?! Poor quality, high priced.

LOST PICTURES

UNACCEPTABLE! I've hesitated giving this review in hopes of a miracle.

This company, whose made $$$$$ from parents and grandparents, LOST my grandson's Cap & Gown photos!!! How do you lose them?!!! I called 24 times and emailed multiple people at Strawbridge concerning his photos that were taken 4-6-23. I was always promised a call back but never received a call.

On 6-8-23 (2 days before graduation), I finally deliberately pressed the wrong button in order to speak to someone. I spoke with "Angelina" who was absolutely amazing. (she gets 10 stars) After 3 calls and 27 minutes, I was informed they could not find his photos but would send me a free copy of his class picture, which I still haven't received! I am far beyond upset!

We sent out invitations with no cap & gown pictures enclosed. We had his party with no cap & gown photo to display. He, as well as myself, is having a real emotional problem with this. A child graduates high school ONCE!!

Senior pictures and cap and gown pictures are sentimental to this once in a lifetime milestone!!! We have NO cap and gown pictures, and this company's supervisor has yet to even attempt to offer an apology. They've yet to acknowledge me other than 3 emails stating a supervisor will call me! UNBELIEVABLE that a company doing multiple school photos has no remorse for ruining a milestone moment for this young man who has worked 13 years to achieve graduation!

It just goes hand in hand with the downward spiral that our country is in.

No emotion, no remorse, no apology, no nothing! Hopefully, after I hold meetings with schools and county school boards, they'll realize what kind of heartless people they're supporting!

Terrible service, never received items

This is the worst service I have ever dealt with. I ordered fall pictures through the school, pictures were taken on Nov 13th, and I ordered them on 12-9.

I thought I was ordering them late, it being almost a month after picture day. I log in and can't see any proofs. Since I have 5 kids, I went ahead and made my order for 3 of them, not wanting to miss the opportunity of getting their pictures. When I received the pictures, my sons eyes were closed.

How is this acceptable? How does a photographer not notice this? Then someone printed them and actually shipped them. I have reached out so many times.

They told me to take the failed pictures to retake day. I did. I continue to reach out for my pictures. They said that I will receive an email when they ship.

NOTHING. And guess what? It's picture day again for Spring photos this Friday! Seriously?

This has to be the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a company. Very aggravated and just shocked.

And looking at my other kids pictures, they aren't that great either. The quality is just poor.

And this is what the school is sticking us with.

And I never received the digital downloads I paid for times 3. Absolute garbage.
