Stoweflake Mountain Resort and Spa

Main feature of spa didnt work. After asking spa staff about reduced spa price because of that,she accused us of wanting to get in for free

Hot tub outside,out of function, huge potholes all over road on the property.

Worn out ,dirty furniture. Whirlpool tub in the room didnt work, Both bedside lamps didnt work,screen door not possible to close,dead spider and hair in room hot tub,nails sticking out of benches around the property

On 1/8/19, for my wife's birthday, she's always wanted to spend some time in Vermont. So this year I reserved a reservation at Stoweflake in Stowe, Vt. for 2 days & nights long with couples side by side massage and use of facilities.

Upon our arrival I received a call from the Spa, saying they had to move our appointment from 1/9/19 at 1000am until noon, after already being after traveling 5 hrs., I said ok. The next day we went down for our couples massage and were taken into the sanctuary for men and women and we met up in a few minutes. We were then taken to separate rooms and informed that they do not have same room massages as it was advertised in the itinerary and website. Prior to going to our massages we went to a Pilates class scheduled for 0930 and nobody was no instructor or people in class.

After spending $1300 for a 2 days and driving 5 hours based on what Stoweflake advertised, I was screwed.

I contacted the people in charge of facility and was offered a free overnight accomodation.
